Great use of the whiteboard Creed made for you! I showed my kids the whiteboard checklist part and a while later my daughter came back to see if you found the "rock". Her eyes lit up when she saw it and man if a look had words when you tossed it... lol she would have said some uncharitable things. So funny. I guessed it was "tosserite" since it looked too big for a postal box. Great video as always!

So hunt for the black sand. I tie a nice strong ring magnet to a piece of 1/4" cord and drag it through promising looking areas. If I find a lot lf mags, I know heavies concentrate there. Find an area, then spot all around it to see where the higiher concentrations are.

Excellent time on the creek. Really enjoy watching. We have a vacation property on a creek. We just got up here for a week. Hoping to try some panning. I have no clue if there is gold in our canyon area. There is futher west in the mountains in Cripple Creek.

Don't forget to check those little strips of land between the S-bends. During floods the river/creek will take a more direct path. I've found lots of hot pockets that way.

your little clean up sluice works quite well . those small ribs seem to be the answer . Some one told me if you pan your concentrate in the contents of PBRs you will see more gold color

Lots of thick black sand there! Amazing how some areas have so much and others have so little even within the same watercourse and general area. At least with the VDR mat you will get almost every speck. Can definitely see why prospectors called it "gold dust".
