    Thanks for posting the video. You just saved me a lot of money. I have an older zero turn mower with two dry rotted tires that have slow leaks. I am going to get me some of this stuff and fix them.

    Haven't seen this stuff might have to give it a try if i get some small leaks, and reality is your tire will still give out when the pressure exerts enough force on dry rotted patches and it will probably be sidewall which involves a crash at any decent speed.
    Remember - Quick fix is okay for yourself, but for the price of new might as well get rid of the old if someone else life on the line

    • @jamiewagner
      @jamiewagner  Před rokem +1

      I don't have this machine anymore and I have a much newer ATV now. So I really don't have any dry rotted tires to try it on anymore. But if you were to puncture the sidewall like how I did it in the video, it would still work to some extent it would probably work long enough to get you moving for a while like maybe back home or out of the woods

      Like I told me you know if you get in a rhythm mix it up right you need to get some cat hair or some dryer lint you don't chop it up put in there with it maybe it feels up there hold you know I nearly had to do that yet I just use regular latex and water butt you put the fiber in there that makes bigger better lining and they're I never tried latex paint it might work ; to latex painted firework also

    I go through a process of cleaning only the sidewalls on our riding lawnmower tires (after taking it off the mower), let all the air out (to prevent any air pressure from making bubbles in the sealant), then apply a layer of GE 100% Silicone Rubber Sealant to it. I spread the sealant using a putty knife then, give the sealant 24 hours to fully cure.
    This gives me a re-engineered tire that’ll not rot due to UV. The petroleum based rubber degrades over time.

      Most car tires have electronic pressure sensors (TPMS) and this sealant may affect the sensor. Most of these tire sealant products are recommended for trailer tires and truck tires that do not incorporate the safety monitoring system. You may want to call the company for more information on their product.
