+broonsdad I first heard the French version by Patrick "Quand on est en amour" on radio in Montreal, Quebec in late 1986. I think it got to the top of the charts. I even called up the station and got them to play it for me.I was going through a very painful breakup at the time and this song really touched me to my core. I found this and the French version on CZcams today, 29 years later and it brought back a flood of memories. I returned to live in England but never forgot the song. It's simply beautiful. Thank you Patrick for the song and Lepoidvin for posting it on CZcams. I feel like I've found a long lost friend today. Thank you.
I love this song because it is so touching. The second stanza where Patrick sings about feeling helpless and lost and your right to happiness really chokes me up. What a beautiful song :)

Just had to see if this is the same Patrick Norman in the video with Roch Voisine that he just posted on his facebook page on April 28th. I recognised the name. Loved this song back in the day and now. Used to hear it on the radio quite often.

CDG is the Karaoke version of the song, This is still a beautiful song but nowhere is there a Karaoke version so that the song can be shared with others...... bryan p
