Extending contacts of players for years and that too with extremely high wages making it difficult for Barcelona to get rid of them today and not to mention the financial problems the club have. Heck they couldn't resign Messi cause of it.

Barca top scorer in UCL for last 5 seasons we're Messi with 30 goals, Own goals 8, Luis suarez with 7 and Osmane dembelle with 4 goals this alone just shows that Leo was carrying a Billion dollar club on his tiny shoulders.
