Taking the S22 Pro to Gale Webb Action Sports park to see how it compares to my standard s22. I got this from ewheels and the difference from the original is the 40T cells, 4kW motor and it comes with cnc bearing sliders 👍
I can’t wait to get some fairings on and get the Grizzla Flow pads set up on this wheel 🤙

I am not holding my breath, but currently not going to assemble my newly received pinned ks22 motor until I get the roller slides in from alien rides... If they ever get them!!!

You feel the wheel would cut out if you railed one of the wall rides?
I have some wall rides near me. A bit apprehensive about laying hard into one....
I don’t think it would dump you if you set the max tilt angle to the maximum, I get the wheel pretty leaned on the little walls in the dirt section, I never feel like I have enough speed for wood extensions in the asphalt track
I'm actually shocked you can do ramps with EUC like that. First time seeing it. Pretty impressive. Only i wanted to see the jumps from the side too.
Hopefully once the weather is nice again I can get some help filming different angles. Thinking of making a jumping tutorial when I get the chance 👍
I got the new pro from Ewheels. The 40T definitely cuts your range. My buddies on their non pros got about 25 more miles then me
Dope video dude. You should try an airshock, I got a foxfloat X2 and it's amazinggggggg. Way better then coil imo with complete adjustability.
I am considering it! I hesitate to tho, I’m afraid of blowing the air shock from the insane amount of pressure we generate, no problems tho? You hit some big drops with it ok?
@@trubttam Oh yeah it's fine the main thing is just running enough air pressure and If you're doing Jumps having the geometry with 3 Holes exposed

@@trubttam To be more specific you need two 50x8mm spacers ( I used Rockshox ones from Amazon) and you can get the X2 off of Pinkbike for a great deal (I got mine for $300) and it kicks ass! I had a Rockshox once before but it wasn't as good for small bumps and I thought that was just the way airshocks were until I tried the X2 which feels just like a coil in that regard. Also I offroaded with my Rockshox and did some jumps and it'll do fine you just need to make sure that you have it set at the highest geometry setting to avoid bottoming out. If you want to use the lower geometry setting like 2 holes exposed then you could add volume spacers which should fix the problem. But yeah I love it! I'll never go back to coil.
Duuude just hit the jump park on the x2 it is awesome!
I ended up using 3 volume spacers and 270psi and then dialed in the rest, so much support now I love it 🤙

I have 1 small godmod on my original s22, going to add a second one to that wheel and see how it compares to the Pro this weekend

How does the T4 do at jump parks like this? I ask because I have a T4 and am starting to hit some big jumps
I’ve tried it but I didn’t like it as much, it took off like a rocket most of the time but landing was super weird, I think it’s a firmware thing
Then I overtorqued it going up a ramp eventually 🤕

Is there any way to get those packs for the s22 with a warranty? Or do you just have to replace all the cells on the BMS yourself?

so battery capacity will decrease? ewheels is the only shop stating 1776wh, all other shops I'm looking at are still saying 2220wh. Was really looking into that wheel, even more since they start trying to fix the mess, but I need more range. Battery of my Baja atrax is bigger than that 😂
Definitely not a long range wheel. Consider a Master Pro if you want to ride forever 👍
@@trubttam I'm into suspension wheels to do street but also offroad (not as Hardcore as you haha), that's why I love my Baja, it will be my first euc too, so maybe the Sherman s or I'm arranging with the 1700wh
I seen 2.26 on euc world. I don't do firmware unless it's on official kingsong app. I just downloaded darkness bot last night haven't tried it or know if it also offers updates. Where do you find 2.27 and are there patch notes?
When I updated to 2.26 it was in the kingsong app but then it disappeared when I was gonna update the pro, I found 2.27 in the kingsong soft tuner app

Soft tuner is made by kingsong so I recon the firmware available in it is safe 👍 2.27 is definitely working

Nice video. Why is the wheel squeaking?
I tried to show it, it’s the kingsong cnc sliders rubbing on the edge of the channel. I’m assuming the tolerances on the screw holes are crap so the whole rail was able to shift a bit. Ewheels will be replacing them with better cnc sliders, just waiting for their arrival

You have any vids of you doing the same lines with your master?
Idk if it’s an issue with my master or firmware issue or what but it is soooo much harder to land these steep jumps on my Master or T4. The T4 is a little easier to land, I have a video up riding that here. I can’t get the beginner line dialed in enough on the master to feel comfortable going bigger, the wheel seems to tilt back on landing and I end up falling off the back, you can see me fall off the back on that t4 video, it was worse for me on the Master.
@@trubttam Yeah I have watched your T4 video a few times. That's really interesting about the Master. I would have thought the opposite. So much for my theory that smaller wheels make it harder to stay straight up and down in the air. Yeah it was crazy to compare the T4 vid with the S22 vid. You made it look so easy on the S22. I'm thinking the S22 Pro will be my next week. Appreciate the content man!

Large grizzla flow, I really like them they just take a bit more time to set up because they are so adjustable
Where did you hear that the inbound factory S22 Pro has a new motherboard? eWheels has denied it.
This is from myewheel’s s22Pro listing but you can find this many places
“The new version of the wheel will come with the following changes:
- New 150V 4.0m N-Ch Power MOSFET
- New 4000W Motor
- New Suspension Slider System”
Also, when I asked about the new controllers I got this response
“The other controllers will be available in about a month, we'll fly them in & offer at cost price of around $250.”
It’s possible things have changed since then if they told you otherwise, idk

Is this thing equipped with any anti theft systems ?
You can password lock it so that it doesn’t balance until you unlock it. I also put AirTags in my wheels. I wouldn’t just leave it unattended somewhere tho. I even lock it up with a cable when it’s in my garage just in case.
Does the new one have less range?
It should, it’s 1776Wh or something instead of 2220Wh
I never really ride more than 30 miles at a time on it so I’m alright with that.
What's max no load speed test on this S22?

What is this LG vs Samsung thing?
Samsung 40t battery packs can discharge the stored energy faster than the original battery packs that kingsong makes. You trade high capacity for high discharge, so if range is what you’re after you don’t want high discharge batteries, but if range is not a concern I prefer the high discharge battery packs.
Feeling any difference with this motor?
Feeling a huge difference BUT idk if it is just the motor.
Unfortunately there were other variables changed as well, firmware and battery cells, and I know these variables play a significant role in power delivery as well.

Your sliders are broken, the weird quiky noise and the motor vibration noise while acceleration is the symptom of it.. don't trust broken sliders.
Why is it squeaking so badly?
The plastic piece of the mudguard that holds the motor cable in place is rubbing on the battery case.
There will always be a problem with the Kingsong S22 no matter what they change the name to

Those little wheels are for sure annoying yikes, at least you can replicate the problem. Old sliders you would need to jump on the wheel from the stickyness
The squeaking? Super annoying. I think the tolerances on the official kingsong rollers are just so bad that they allow things to move out of alignment. The rail is touching the channel to make that squeak
