@@ghfnext I think that the DATE & TIME on this CASIO AE1200 watch should be a larger size. There is some wasted real estate space on this watch. The DATE and TIME on the CASIO model W96H-1BV is a much larger size. I can see the TIME on it easily from 1 meter away ! The CASIO W96H-1BV is my favorite digital watch because it shows the TIME, DATE, DAY and YEAR all on the face without having to push any buttons for selection. You look at this watch and it shows everything all at once.... though the CASIO AE1200 watch is better when traveling to different countries. I do like the CASIO AE1200 and decided to buy one because of it's many features. I am going to modify it with the all metal SKXmod company watch kit.

Well...it's a good watch,and it's "shock resist" enough for daily use due to it's lightweight,wear it without worries since it's very cheap.

The differences are visible: the “analog” display, the section which gives you the day (original has 3 letter; fakes just 2), and the thickness of the main hour (fakes are skinnier). The colors are another item to identify fakes: there are not golden ones, nor black with metal bracelets; nor any rose gold version.

No gold, and metal bracelets are only silver, but Casio does have a version with a copper colored case now!
