Charming and Cinderella harmonizing in this movie is giving what it needs to give. Their adult actors harmonized like crazy in the beginning of the movie, also, adult Cinderella has a butterfly tattoo lol (they didn't cover Brandy's tattoo, no idea why)
Well, I don’t matter because she’s an adult I mean there’s something wrong saying she can’t. I’m a tattoo. It’s not like it was a bad tattoo. It was a butterfly if you want to go there red had a nose ring and make her take it out.
@@tammiepage6489 bruh I didn't say I didn't like it chill the hell out. Disney doesn't usually allow for their princesses to be anything less then smooth skinned, Brandy is the first Princess/Queen from Disney to openly show a tattoo, it's a milestone, but a surprising one. They have been letting kids wear nose rings since back in the That's so Raven days. Nothing about what I originally said was negative so idk why your comment was. Ignorant af
Aah! I get it! Castlecoming is most likely the Descendants universe's version of Cinderella's ball, where she dances with the prince and leaves behind her glass slipper and all!
Fun fact, Castlecoming was also mentioned in Return to the Isle of the Lost! Well not just mentioned, it even happened with Mal, Jay, Evie and Carlos participating in the dance before sneaking off pretending to be sick to go back to the Isle!
What Chloe doesn't get: 1) That her mum had a hard life growing up 2) I don't think she got that her mum clearly likes Charming at this age but is trying to act like she doesn't because she doesn't want to act like she's impressed by royalty considering how other students treat her at the school, and since I guess she has some trust issues because of how she's treated at home and probably doesn't want Bridget to think that she'd leave her for anyone.
I see people confused as to how these two could be Chad’s parents. But Charming’s mom was Black in the 1997 Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. His dad was White. He is Filipino. The casting was colorblind, because the production team wanted the film to reflect how progressive they were. They casted everyone based on talent, though Brandy was chosen as Cinderella at the recommendation of the producer, Whitney Houston. Whitney also played the fairy godmother. She was originally considered for the role of Cinderella for years, but she felt like she was too old.
I think it's a reference to the colourblind casting of the 1997 Cinderella movie which starred Brandy and Paolo Montalban, the king was played by Victor Garber, the queen was played by Whoopi Goldberg, and Paolo Montalban who was the Prince is Filipino. Plus, the stepmother was white (Bernadette Peters), one stepsister was black (Natalie Desselle) and the other was white (Veanne Cox) - neither sister was really 'ugly', more just socially awkward (at best), stupid and mean (though mostly through their mothers influence).
i love this movie, but the storyline has some flaws. like if touching the sorcery cookbook would have made ulliana and her crew freeze, then why did they not get frozen in the first place? if they got frozen in the first place then bridget wouldnt turn evil??? so how did ulliana even get the cookbook before red and chloe went to the past?
If Prince Charming and Cinderella went to school together then how come when they’re supposed to meet at the ball when they’re older, they don’t remember eachother? Or is this a different story line?

“I’m charming. That’s debatable.” Had me laughing so hard 😂😂😂
That's what she said at the beginning too before they went back in time
The way Chloe smiled when her mom said that's debatable

Probably because the butterfly is cute😂

Pocahontas doesn't count, she's not a princess

yeah but. Faye/Younger Fairy god mother is Ella/Cinderella's fairy god mother though.
@@ShipperFireMist I know!
Faye’s magic definitely worked helping her in a beautiful ballgown and glass slippers
@@SabinaCabanero But it was so chaotic and it only lasted till midnight.

Red probably doesnt know her dad so she cant really say anything to her younger mom that she does find someone in the future.
theres a theory after bridget becomes evil her and hook like fall in love .

1:09 Don’t deny it, Ella. I can see it in your eyes. You like him. But you’ll see for yourself at Castlecoming.
Definitivamente a Chloe viu como seu pai conquistou o ❤ da sua mãe e Bridget ficou feliz por essa declaração de amor para Ella
He’s so Handsome 😍

I... how is Chad blond when the rest of his family has dark hair?
Or at least his dad does while his mom and sister have blue hair?

I’m guessing he gets his external personality from his grandfather.
I noticed in the movie that Paolo Montalban had a couple of blue streaks in his hair.

This makes no sense whatsoever doesn’t this contradict the original Cinderella movie
Someone tell me how a black girl and an Asian prince made a Caucasian boy. 😂
His grandfather is white
