*AS YOU DIDN'T MENTION WHAT VOID BEFORE A FUNCTION MEANS* - it's used to make a function run without returning any value. *YOU ALSO DIDN'T INCLUDE THE RETURN STATEMENT* - which is used to terminate the main funtion by typing return 0; *THE LAST PART OF C STRUCTURE IS USER DEFINED* - here user-defined functions are written.

A void function does not need a return statement. But if you add one, it should be "return;" without value as the function does not return a value.
@@sverkeren In C return value is compulsory but not in C++. Whether its a void or int function, if it's a nain function then return value is required if we are running the program on any OS,. That's because the caller of the main function is the OS and using various return values represents various system failures. When we include return 0 - it returns zero to the OS which makes the OS run the program without showing any errors.
@@debojitacharjee No, a void function should not return a value, both in C and C++. That's what declaring it void means; this function does not return a value. You will get a warning or error from the compiler if you try to return a value from a void function.
@@debojitacharjee Yes, a main function is usually declared as int and returns integer back to the OS to signal success or failure code.
