Ran into this issue on my 2.2 2006 ion. Bought cheap coil pack and ICM off Amazon. Worked great for about 2weeks. Then misfire came back so I started looking elsewhere. Vacuum leaks, throttle body, injectors, etc. Turned out the new Coil pack and ICM I just installed may be bad already!
Get what you pay for. At 53yrs old I still have to learn this lesson the hard over and over again😅
