    Just a quick suggestion to speed up the process. If you take the outline all of the way to the edge of the canvas then make the outline a reference layer you can then just color drop the white around the outside of the outline. Takes way less time.

    Hey guys n gals just a quick tip, you can also auto select the area outside of the linework and drag n drop white in the selected area to fill it instead of painting around the outline.

    Can you just place the image right on the picture of the arm insted of outlining it to make it easier?

    hey! great video helps so much! how do you save it so that when you insert it next time it still doesn't have the background?

    • @athomastattoo
      @athomastattoo  Před 3 lety +8

      You will need to hide the background layer and save it out as a png file format. PNG support transparent images. Jpg and pdf don’t. Hope this helps.

    I’m a complete novice in tattoo designing. I have a client wanting me to design her something. I have the basic design, but I have no idea what kind of file tattoo artists will need. It’s a wrap around design that goes down the whole arm. Suggestions?

    How would you do a thick neck with chin up without it looking just like a straight line up ..?

    I’m confused on how you’d print it out with the wrapping included and not just the rose being cut off?

    Why don't you just drag and drop The White color to The background

  • @dblejays
    @dblejays Před 2 lety +1

    This is very time consuming. Make a selection and then delete the background.
