I definitely notice a certain quality and clarity with the bb preamp but I still love the sound of that rich ts9, I'm still swayed to purchase the bb preamp for that sound
Hello, I guess if you have a strat with very vintage clean pickups the ts goes perfect for the mid boost if you have humbuckers, the Bb for sure, as I see, just saying, cheers
i just tried TS9 and BB preamp together. I must say that the result is excellent if both gain and volume are adjusted at 12:00. This way you can use them individually as very dynamic overdrives and both with a different timbre. In particular set up like this the TS9 is less driven than the BB preamp. When you activate both pedals you go into a pure lead sound. I would say fantastic pairing!!! thanks for the hint. I also advise you to put the TS9 first and then the BB preamp and then the amp.
@@MarcMusicPyrodo it you won't look back, I've tried both two bb's and two ts9's and these combinations don't sound as good as a single BB and ts9 together, they're like an old married couple LOL

Both pedals are great. BB is new fashion pedal, TS9 is a pedal that ever guitarist must have.
I use 2 BBs, one set for a just over edge of breakup for a light OD and then one ballsed out for a heavy, both of them together is the money.
