15:44 The cylinders where painted in the Darlington Style (as on the US tour) when Scotsman had an overhaul at Darlington around 1964/5 with Scotsman's cylinders painted in the Darlington Style
16:45 On most US railroads, white flags signified an "Extra" train, which was on the schedule for that day but not a regularly scheduled train. Flying Scotsman definitely would have counted as an Extra on her big journey.
The 'Flying Scotsman' in black I could quite confidently date to late 2015/early 2016 when it was being put back into service - at long last! - at the East Lancs. It was finally repainted in green later in 2016 for its official mainline debut.
'Flying Scotsman' in America I, for one, would like to see! Take it over the Marias Pass eastbound - the climb from Essex to Summit will give you (and it) something to think about!
The “Hybrid Scotsman” with the German deflectors has a SAR 3 Chime also
There were two shades for BR Green, pre-1954 and post-1954. Pre was basically just GWR green and post was BR's own shade
The Australian version has a different chime whistle hidden under the firebox
Worked this out now and its now my favourite version lol
The space bar whistle was my work
Also, is there no 66097 Humorist in this pack with the larger "Wagner" smoke deflectors?
Hey Tom, is there any Orient Express stuff in Train Sim? Kinda asking since Lego's Orient Express set got leaked recently and I'm now having a minor hyperfixation on the train.
2506's name isn't as weird as 4447's is!
That's No. 4477. 4447 is an Ivatt C1 Atlantic.
I maybe wrong but the Blue water tender , was when Pete Waterman owned flying Scotsman
Pete Waterman never owned it… it was when it was with McAlpine :))
In the 1990s, the Flying Scotsman was once part-owned by record producer Pete Waterman.
Poor old Salmon Trout.
Neil Gow. Not Neil cow.
Lkl still niel cow to me XD
I own the original nameplate and smokebox number to "Neil Gow". The font used makes it look like "Cow" but it is in fact a "G".
Hello second and also a bit strange normally these happen late at night instead of early in the morning at 9 o'clock
13:37 Let's be honest, as crazy and somewhat annoying Flying Scotsman's story and fame are, it is still better than letting the whole class go extinct, which would have happened if the BR had had it their way. Better one than none.
Dibble head Thomas the tank engine and Percy the green engine
