Today I'm giving you a quick look on how you can fix ribbon out errors on a Zebra printer
The ink tank system appears to be much better than the cartridge system czcams.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 and a lot cheaper to run. The machine was easy to set up. A small point but I thought they'd be a USB cable included to help with the set up but there was none. I've been using it now for a few weeks and it seems like a good product and superior to my previous printers which were all troublesome HP machines.
Do they make label machines?

Can I do that on ze500 using direct thermal since we don't use ribbon and it shows ribbon in error I tried fixing switching to direct thermal still showing same error
even though i kept the settings but still showing the ribon out error ??
Ugh. This video is really helpful but I don't think my sensors are the issue - ZT230 w/ same message. Compressed air on every sensor and same message. Machine is a little under 2 years old.
Andrew try a Manual ribbon calibration...good luck.

"Ribbon In" indicates the printer is set for direct thermal printing, which does not require a ribbon. Go into the menu and set the printer to THERMAL TRANSFER.
What about the Printronix model ?? I can’t seem to find any videos on those.
