Sans is arguably the easiest boss in the game. He fights you too late in the game to not die in one hit and his attack/defense is pitiful. The only reason he is hard is because of the karma mechanic, a reason he fights you so late into the game being this alone, and the fact he dodges your hits. He can't be the general, given how weak he is, but sure as sh** he'll send you to Jiguko (hell)

I just realized that Sans could've used Izanami/Izanagi to change someone or something, that's why his right eye ain't glowing Simple enough explanations of what these techniques do below Izanagi: changes the reality to whatever you like, you could cancel the effects of someone's technique or even revive yourself at a cost of one of your eyes going blind. Forever. Needs Mangekyo Sharingan. Izanami: originally made to cool the Hell out off ppl who abused Izanagi, and it basically first records 3 noticable events (a drop of water falling on yo shoulder or a sword falling on the ground) and then repeats those 3 events while the Genjutsu is activated. Izanami: originally made to cool the Hell out off ppl who abused Izanagi, and it basically first records 3 noticable events (a drop of water falling on yo shoulder or a sword falling on the ground) and then repeats those 3 events while the Genjutsu is activated. The person just stands there while they dream about being trapped in an infinite loop of those 3 events, until they accept the black magic fkery that is going on with them. And yes, it too makes you blind in one eye and needs mangekyo.
