this feels good. when i read this book i felt seen. my anxiety practically controls my life and my thoughts are never ending. yearning for an ounce of freedom from your own mind is an everyday battle since i was 14. this is helpful
I can relate to all of this. I hope I can go one day without giving into a ritual. It's always easy to say from outside perspective but It's really tough to go through. I wish you well and hope nothing but the best for you! They are just thoughts that come and go but yet we feel stuck in a constant loop with our fears. Take it one day at a time and try not to give in your own mind. They are just thoughts. "Oh wells" are better than "What ifs"
As someone who lives with OCD and has read the book this movie will hopefully shed more light on what some people actually go through. OCD is not an adjective or a quirk because the reality of it is that It's a debilitating disorder.
As someone else with ocd, I don’t know anyone in my life who thinks like me except for my dad and some adhd friends, so it’s really nice to be able to have a movie to show my friends what it’s like, and to my mum so she can understand why I’m so dibilitated all the time. It really helps Me feel less alone especially since I’ve had these mental breakdowns so many times before
It’s nice to see that it’s actually so much breakdowns - like I don’t want people to feel sorry for me or feel quirky but I want them to understand why and how I live if that makes sense???
just finished the book literally like 10 minutes ago. as a person with both an anxiety disorder and ocd the author wrote them very well, he really understood. i hope the movie is just as good as the book
This film is going to be so hard to watch. As someone who suffers from anxiety and depression and grew up with constantly overthinking and worrying, this will hit. I have the book but haven't read it yet, this gives me a bit more insight of what it's going to be about. So excited!
Just so you know this is a movie, not a tv series. Nowadays, trailers for tv shows looks just like movie trailers, and when they premier on streaming channels, it's sometimes hard to tell what is what.
If WBD can keep heartfelt stories like this coming, they can have all my money, because literally.. these are the kind of movies we need today nationwide. Movies that matter, stories that encourage and educate people on understanding each other better. Love is is a scary place, and no-one else is talking about it.
i wish this explored pure O ocd (internal compulsions and not external compulsions)especially if it’s a romance movie too , pure O is very hard too and not many people know that this is a common trait of ocd and not just obsessing over jerms , it’s also a stigma that people w ocd only worry about germs and being organized and locking the door LOL
With that, it will be very interesting and striking to understand obsessive compulsive disorder or OCD, from the perspective of the character wonderfully played by the talented actress Isabela, just that, that's all. ⭐
I can explain the pressure in my chest when I saw this trailer especially the part about the intimate things in a relationship because GOD that something that really scares me some times when I think about that and I never really been in a relationship but thats my point. And thats what makes feel scared cause, I have autism and there are sometimes when I don't like the fisic contact even if I'm close to this person. So I've always dream about having this beautiful first realtionship with an amazing guy but this kind of little things are going to happen and I want them to happen but at the same time I don't know how to feel or how am I supposed to react or like... AKAHDKHFAKJDSA I DON'T KNOW DUDE HELP
I remember her being a child in Transformers Last Knight now she's a Lady. Time went fast but not as fast as Michael Bay having a new transformer franchise.
I have OCD and every day I am bombarded with intrusive thoughts and rumination. I am glad this movie is shedding some light into what OCD is actually like, not the stereotypical clean freak disorder.
Beautiful. Isabel is for once coming through for some of us fans who have a hunger for romance. Especially that between white brunette haired men and lovely latinas like herself.👩❤👨
The jet sene was filmed at middletown regional airport when they filmed thare it made the whole airport a cluster duck but happy to see my place of work in a movie
One scene she's a germaphobe, next scene she's in a car at a restaurant sitting at a cubicle with hundreds off a**ses sitting on that same cubicle. Seems very contrived.
People with OCD get through life. It is a struggle. They have their days where they are in control, they have their days when OCD is in control. The author and the producers know and understand this very well. The movie, if you see the whole thing, portrays this very seriously and thoughtfully.
I didn’t actually like the book the first time I read but this movie is making me think that should read it again, because maybe I just didn’t understand it.
I CAN'T believe they did a movie based on my favorite book and one of the best I've ever read. But after watching the trailer I am dissapointed, it won't be as good as a book. Where is the plot of his father missing?
It's in there. The movie is quite true to the book (I got to see the preview Saturday) and the few changes made actually made it better (IMO, and John voiced his support for them as well in the panel discussion that followed). I don't think you'll be disappointed.
i cant be the only one who hate how they take these boys who play bad boys or just boys who people like and put them in other romantic movies like these, i know damn well yall couldve found someone we dont know
did they practically show the whole movie? yes. will i be tuning in? yes.
the other hour and 28 minutes will be just filler.
RIGHHHHTTT
True
The trailer actually leaves out a major part of the plot. Have fun! :D
No, nothing from the book
This book broke my heart. Will I still watch? Yes. yes I will.
Does it end sadly?
Is her friend real?
@@hannahdawidowicz9627 No, it ends realistically. Neither overly pessimistic/sad or optimistic/happy.
Saw it Saturday at the LATFOB preview. The movie is very much true to the book; the few changes (IMO) actually made the story better, incredibly.

As someone who lives with OCD and has read the book this movie will hopefully shed more light on what some people actually go through. OCD is not an adjective or a quirk because the reality of it is that It's a debilitating disorder.
As someone with OCD too, it’s soul crushing. So happy u posted this. Sending love.

@@jemmagauci8620 I know the feeling. It would be nice to have a friend who deals with this on the daily. Would you like to be friends?
@@jemmagauci8620 I stream games everyday on CZcams would be cool if you tuned in whenever you’re not busy! Anyways, hope nothing but the best for you!
I also have ocd thank you for commenting this people never understand how hard it is
Never have I related to a character in a book more than Aza Holmes. I cant wait to finally see this book brought to life!
Yeesss
As someone with severe OCD, I can confirm that this is 100% accurate
It’s nice to see that it’s actually so much breakdowns - like I don’t want people to feel sorry for me or feel quirky but I want them to understand why and how I live if that makes sense???

Marcus moved on from Ginny, that's nice💀
Holy! My I always thought Isabela Merced and Cree Cicchino looked alike! And now they're in the same movie together! What are the odds?! 😂
Both are Nickelodeon girls, Cree in Game Shakers and Isabela in 100 Things
@@skylerloggins4902
Yeah that too!
dangg that's a big coincedence😂
I clicked on this video assuming it was another TMNT movie. 😂😂

Isabela Merced is such an amazing actress. I can't wait to see her in this movie.
Now I gotta reread the book
What's the name of the book

I was an extra on that movie, we were at the hospital in Cincinnati Ohio😊😊
really?
@justinwright4628 yes, It was nice to be there, they film a lot of movies in Cincinnati Ohio.
grouplove will be on the soundtrack right!?
aHHHHH FINALLY EBCOMING A MOVIE
As a person living with ocd I’m so scared to watch this because I know I’m going to be sobbing
I love adaptations of John Green's books. Always so accurate and scenes plus dialogue are very similar to the books
And he finally makes it into the final cut of the movie!

Wow that was a good movie
i love how i recognize everyone in this trailer
All I can think abt is Marcus (from Ginny and Georgia) and Devi´s mom (from Never have I ever)😅
I have really bad anxiety so I relate to the main character
the algorithm is crazy. this trailer looks like my life with a different actress.
i love isabelaaaaaa
Hey ya’ll this is babe from game shakers😳
Fabulous
That acturally looks Like a good movie
So it's not a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie
I thought that way too
I was very disappointed
I knew I wasn't the only one expecting that! 🤣
Thought the exact same. 😅
Loved the book. Loved tbe movie ❤
I better see a Tuatara🐊
So i guess it does help with a good script. Looking at you Madame!
The book is so good.
The friend died?
My fav novel ❤
This movie is good
Dude Babe and Isabela was my past casting for siblings
Is that Cree Cachino from Game shakers
Omg yess😅
OCD is not an anxiety disorder
Great book but sad❤
I kinda like this movie while watching this trailer maybe i will watch it later😊😊

Hey everyone Jesus loves you and you are not alone
She's like Tom Holland in terms of build. They could play high schoolers for a while.
never read the book and lets just say didn't have high expectations for the movie either
ended up making me cry few times what the heck
her parents allowed her to act this?!
It was a little over halfway through when I realized this wasn't a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel.
She will always be Isabela Moner regardless of the name change
A new TMNT movie, Hyped...wait what?

I'm so lost. What do turtles have to do with this movie?
turtles all the way down is an existential phrase that refers to the world being held up by turtles. its relevance gets explained in the movie.
