Hi - I'm yet another nameless ghoulette who is a part of Emeritus, Southern California's tribute band to Ghost. Enjoy this cover, stick around for more, and I hope this helps anyone trying to learn the keyboard parts.
You can purchase my transcription of this song from this link (trust me):

Amazing cover! You played it very well! 🖤
Thank you so much 🖤
This is awesome! ❤
Thank you!
Amazing cover, in special the final chorus. 👏👏👏
Thank you so much!
One question: What tones did you use and what program did you use for your midipost controller? The cover was incredible.
I use Ableton Live for all my work with Emeritus, and I also built the organ sound myself using simple waveforms using Ableton’s stock synths!
Kiss the go goat next? Amazing talent btw
Thank you! Lots of practice hehe
Maravilhoso me apaixonei mais ainda pela musica
Toca muito bem ...essa melodia da tantas sensacoes ....❤❤
Obrigada! 🖤🖤🖤
this right cosplay music fits
Have to keep up the anonymity hehe
it seems to me that there is a more organ-like, more prolonged sound(in the main motive). and there are still two keyboard parts in the last chorus: one is the one you played, and as you played in the first chorus(chord-like).But it's still a great cover, thank you! Great job!
Thank you! Yeah it’s close to impossible to hear sometimes because of how low in the mix it is. What I did for the verse is i transcribed what I heard first, then I cross referenced it with the “Live from Tampa” video where we get some close ups of the keyboard ghoulette’s hands, and used a combination of that to decide what to play! From what I understand/hear, the keyboard ghouls and ghoulettes are not taught the part as they were recorded but have to interpret it basically the same way as me since for many songs, every one of them plays it slightly differently!
@@emerituskeys I wrote about studio record, but if you play like concert, I have no questions to you. Keyboard ghoulettes really play another, not like studio record. I also play this song, and watch your cover, and this forced me look at this song from another vision. You make wonderful covers♥
See the light, but do it just on the piano!! Plisss!!!❤
Like a piano solo cover? I'll try soon!
@@emerituskeys yes!! Exactly!!
Is there a way to get a midi file, I'm have your sheets for this but I'm not that good at reading them
Unfortunately I don’t save the MIDI files after I finish recording :( what you could do is slow down the video on CZcams to watch my fingers a little closer, at least until I get the chance to make the tutorial videos
@@emerituskeys I've been doing that, ran out of energy halfway through :) Played it with the band last weekend though went ok, if you're planning on making a tutorial that would be awesome
Can I achieve this effect (a bit close to this effect) in Zoom g5n? Can anyone help me with the patches, drop some patches.
Probably not to sound the same, but we can get kinda the idea of it. The sound I use is a type of organ, so what we need to do is to try making the guitar sound like one. Here’s what I would try:
1. COMPRESS your guitar signal a lot so that the notes sustain a lot more than usual
2. Add DISTORTION to create upper harmonics (play with the tone setting/EQ so it’s not too harsh)
3. If you are able, add multiple OCTAVES above (2-3 is a good number) because that’s how organ sounds are made. If you can’t, then your pedal probably can do one octave either above or below. I would try doing it below, then playing everything an octave higher - that way the lower note (fundamental) sounds more artificial and less like a guitar.
4. Finish it off with some CHORUS and/or ROTARY modulation. Chorus will add some depth to the sound, and rotary will emulate the type of amps that organs use.
If you manage to try it out, please consider making a video and link it to me - I’d love to see!!
Wow where are you from
I’m based in Los Angeles!
Bro......what keyboard is this???
It’s a Novation Launchkey 88! Doesn’t have any sounds on its own so you have to connect it to a laptop and make all the sounds there
Just do it 💘🤍🔥
