Hello! I love how you are personalizing every planner you have. For the monthly tabs i align it with the first full week in that new month. Also when I open my tabs I pull on it and go to the page behind it 😂 so to the right of it lol. Love your personality and happy I found your channel

Thank you youtube for recommending your channel to me! I got my first weeks this year and struggled to find a use for it because I had another planner already in use. But for 2024, I'm making weeks my main planner! It really is perfect. 😊 I use my tabs the same way you do, so I usually put the monthly tab wherever the 1st day of that month is. It makes more sense to my brain. I also have mine in my TN, so I would love to see your whole TN setup!! I need to redo mine for 2024. ❤

I love the idea of putting the sticker tabs on the metal clips! I usually put them on the Avery Ultra Reusable Tabs, but those get nasty after a while.

I open so the tab is on the right, so even if there’s only 1 day in a new month in that week (on Sunday) I put it on that page. I hold the tab with my right thumb and turn to the page with my left hand, maybe that has something to do with it! I never even thought about doing it the other way! 😂

Nice set up! I flip open the tab, so it ends up on the left side.
I've been mulling over how I open with my tabs, and I really don't have a "standard" it seems. Sometimes I open TO the tab, and sometimes I open USING the tab. Huh. 🤔 Maybe that's why I don't like tabs. I absolutely LOVE the movable tabs though! Genius! I've been using tabbed pencil board/bookmark like things, but they fall out all the time. This solves so much frustration!

As someone who’s considering a Weeks in addition to the Midori Hibino (I freaked out after I realized that it doesn’t have weekly pages 😅) that I got for 2024-I’m curious, how do you use the Weeks in conjunction with/differently to the Cousin? I know you mentioned that the things in the Weeks take priority, but I’d love to know more in detail! (Btw, I clocked the Daily Text ref, I did a double take! Sending love from the Midwest. ☺️)
Hello 🤗 uuu ok so In my Hobonichi Weeks I find it easier to carry with me for my groceries lists, LDC morning worship notes, date night plans, in detail service plans, vacation stuff too. It’s much easier for me to keep my Cousin (work stuff) separate from my personal life because I have found it hard to balance work and personal life. I get too excited with Etsy shop ideas so I have found that having 2 planners keeps my brain on check 🤗
@@simplypanux Thanks for sharing!! That’s actually a really great idea-it definitely sounds like it would make it easier to prioritize and balance all the things we have to juggle! So I have been pretty much obsessively watching hobonichi weeks run throughs because I’m planning on using one for my health journal and this video was recommended to me. I immediately liked it and then as I’m watching this I saw, “service” and “meeting”. The one that clinched it for me was “family worship”. Anyway. I think your video was lovely, and I’ve subscribed. Your stickers are beautiful. I love the mushroom one especially. It’s nice to see someone on CZcams that has the same priorities as I do. @@simplypanux so nice to “meet” you :) it’s my first year with hobonichi and I’m excited to start everything. I’ve always been someone who loved stationary and a bit of a notebook hoarder lol. But moving to Taiwan made it worse because they have so much cute stationary for relatively inexpensive, and a lot of it is from Japan. Have you always loved stationary? Also I want to say your desk setup is beautiful. The lighting is perfect

I put the tab on the first day of the month as long as there are more than one day left in the week. Does that make sense? If there is only 1 day for the new month then I put the tab on the next page.

I am still debating because I REALLY want to start my planner in January, so currently finding a way I can use the rest of the weekly pages for 2023. Maybe I can do some journaling?? 😅 Do you have a spring start as well for 2023?
@simplypanux I do. It's maddening to be redundant, however I think I'll use the 2023 for scripture writing until it's done in March or...just close it and archive it. I'm leaning on starting fresh & and new, though. It has everything in it. It's just me & my husband as the children are grown. We are both starting a healthier lifestyle with exercise and healthier eating habits, so maybe starting fresh might be better. 🤷🏼♀️
