The ready-to-eat ramen was interesting. Here in the States, you’ll often see raw ramen broken up into little pieces and mixed into what we call ‘Asian salad’. Quite a few people here in the US will break up a brick of ramen, dust it with the seasoning packet, and eating them right out of the package. Another quality video!

When I was in high school I liked crispy noodles as a snack. Still do, but without the seasoning packet.

@@angemaidment5640 I wish they came out with lower sodium seasoning packets; I can’t stand the flavor of uncooked ramen, and the seasoning packet is a glorified salt lick

The chocolate cereal is something we make with our children for parties and one of the first thing very young children make in school, we also make it with peffed rice.

I totally ate ramen uncooked! That was the best! Although my friends use to tell me it was more unhealthy that way. Sapporo Ichiban broken up to several pieces, with a little soup base powder, and a little Taijin powder for that multi-cultural L.A.-style mix. Lol

Here in the UK, some of the students at the school I worked at said they snack on 'raw' instant noodles! This is just a few years ago, so you are down with the cool kids, Shinichi!!

Cornflake cake! Not had that in years. We also have Rice Krispie cake done the same way.

    Raw instant ramen! Yes!
And I would love those Calbee potato sticks. They have recently become a favorite but I can only find 4 flavors.

I've actually seen those ready to eat ramen snacks here where I live. But as for how I used to eat ramen? I also ate it raw, except I put the soup mix in a cup of hot water and dunked pieces of ramen into it. I remember there was one brand that had an instant noodle that tasted great when uncooked.

The Crisp Choco is like Schoko Crossies in Germany, huh? Like Cornflakes coated in chocolate. But instead of some bite sized heapes it's shaped like a tarte, it seems?

I like Konyaku as a noodle replacement when I go to my favorite Korean BBQ and Hot Pot restraunt. But they have not had them since before Covid. So I have not had them in a quite a while. And I love Pushin Pushin. It is a brand of instant Ramen pack that you are supposed to eat without cooking it. You are supposed to take the seasoning pack and add it to the package of noodles that you broke up and eat it. It is soooo good.

So interesting! I would definitely try these, though probably not the saba snack. Not that much of a saba eater.
The mabo dofu one would be great as a coating for chicken. I love konnayku snacks. I always have a jar full for the yuzu, peach and grape snacks. Rgey usually don't have much calories so you can take it without feeling guilty. But I never had a savoury one.
