I really like this video and statue. Extremely awesome detail on it. The likeness of Bilbo to Ian Holm is really really good. The nick nacks and everything on the desk is so cool. I’m so getting this statue. Cheers buddy,
hey Alfred, yeah the desk is so detailed! I think they did a fantastic job on this piece.. only a minor painting mistake on his back (may not be on all of them). Definitely recommend it. Thanks for commenting!

Hey man! Yeah I was actually surprised this arrived as soon as it did. Perhaps the big version takes a bit longer? Usually its the other way around and USA peeps get theirs after the EU. Appreciate the comment dude.
Where did you get those sconces? They really make the room.
They are from Etsy but the store that sold them no longer have them for sale. That being said, search Etsy for "Lantern Sconce" and you'll find many similar.

The hair is a major downgrade from the prototype - just look at the images on Weta's store, Bilbo's hair has multiple paint apps., but in the production piece it looks to be one flat colour?
hmm yeah I think you may be right never really compared it to the images on their site. The hair has some lighter highlights that seem to be missing from my statue. Never noticed before. That being said, I still really like this piece, no regrets. The desk is amazing!
@@thecyberhobbit I think the hair looks fine. No one is going to be visiting your house, see your collection, compare it to the website and say, "The hair seems to be off". Great addition. I just bought mine.
