First, you look so fantastic after your beautiful Lilly was born. Your finds are awesome. Otegeri is a good name and desirable to collect! I love the antique shoe mold. Magic eraser will probably take mushroom decal off but I would rub some off to make it look like its fading! I am not a Copper person at all but that pitcher is awesome! I love your videos and love it when I see your sweet gorgeous daughters and handsome hubby in them! Your pup also, don't remember his name. So glad you are back in the swing. Your home is lovely!!!
I’ve missed your thrift hauls! I’m so over this summer heat so I’ve been on the hunt for fall/winter items for a while now too. This is the best time to do it before everyone else starts getting in the fall mood and shopping for seasonal decor.

Have someone blow spray foam insulation in your basement around the top of your foundation. That will help keep mice out. Coming from someone else who lives in an older farmhouse 😊

I live in New Hampshire and the White Mountains are about 2 hours north of us. It’s a beautiful place ~ especially Mt Washington. You can ride a trolley-type car up the mountain to the top.

You are a brave woman heading into a thrift store and shopping with 4 children! I didn't even take my kiddos to the grocery store when they were little😕. The terracotta lamps would make a great diy project. The pottery barn lamp was a great find. Have a blessed week!

The hand-painted wooden shoe is for holding recipe cards! It's folk art... made a trendy "comeback" during the 80s... was very common/popular in home kitchens in Minnesota, as I believe that the hand painting is Scandinavian rose malling.

My brother was the first born.. followed by 5 girls.. I’m forever, the baby.. at 70.. I don’t mind it as much now,as I did when I was younger ..always the baby.. my poor brother had a rough time,lol

Great finds... Buddy will love having a real bed.... I know you have tons to do - but maybe think about getting a kitty to help with your mouse problem. We rescued a brother and sister 3 years ago when they were about 8 weeks old - that first fall - my Paulie caught the entire family (6 little mices). We have not had any since. You are looking fantastic too!!!!

You could melt the candles in a pot of hot water, transfer the wick into those cute bowls and then pour the melted wax into the bowl.
That shoe form will be so cute in a Fall display. You find such good things. Not here in CA, no bargains anywhere!

The amber glass jar you could buy a box if long matches and cut them to fit the jar height. Then you could cut the striker paper and put it on the bottom with some kind of lighrt adhesive and have an Anthropologie dupe match striker. I bought one from Anthropologie a few years ago before I saw a video and wish I had seen the video first. The jar is beautiful! Perfect for the fall and to light your autumn harvest candle. You are so creative, Kristen, and you have a beautiful eye for decor and how to use things. ❤ Also I have seen the long matches on the Grilling isle at Kroger.
Put your flowers from your garden in the amber glass.

Hi Kirsten. The foot mold is called a Last and was used by shoemakers to mold the leather round for shoes. Lovely to see your family and glad everyone is ok xx
How about doing a candle melt pour diy video using the jar and the soup cups? Personally, I would use the soup cups for soup, though. You find the cutest stuff!

For your mice problem I can suggest Irish spring soap(shave it & disperse) in trouble areas! That stuff deter mice & more!

I enjoy your thrift halls! We also live in an old farmhouse and mice have been a problem over the years. I’ve found steel wool is a great help when it comes to keeping the mice out of the house. We went around the house next to the foundation and filled any holes even the smallest holes with the steel wool. Tuck it inso you can’t see it. Mice can’t chew through the steel wool. It’s really helped allot. We also set traps in the attic during the winter. Fall is mice hunting season around here. 😎
“To use steel wool for keeping mice away, follow these steps:
1. Inspect your home for small holes or gaps where mice might enter
2. Take a piece of Medium-Grade Steel Wool and shape it to fit the opening
3. Push the steel wool firmly into the hole, ensuring it’s snug and won’t be easily pulled out
4. For added security, you can apply a caulking compound around the edges of the steel wool”

I heard you can put peppermint oil on cotton balls and put them around and the mice don't like it.

Steel wool worked with wonders in my house. I also used peppermint oil on cotton balls and some expanding spray foam that hardens!

Love that amber glass clamp jar!! The jar lid is missing, but I'm sure you can either use that jar to put a small arrangement of wheat or some other spoons with maybe little pumpkins on them or small wooden spoons. The jar is darling! By the way, you look phenomenal for somebody who just had a baby.❤❤

Get sticky traps, for mice, pest offence is plug for outlet to keep mice,roches,spiders,scorpions away. Also sprinkle baking soda away from where kids,pets are, it will safely kill them cause they cant burp.

Be careful putting hot wax into that jar. 🕯🕯 Not all jars can handle hot wax. If I had to guess, I'd say that amber jar with handle is something from Dollar General. They have many items that are vintage look alikes and fool the resellers on CZcams. Some stores are a mess, others pristine and not all of them carry the same stuff. But I love their decor items. (ps Y'all lookin' good! )

I have an idea for you. You could melt down your yankee candle and pour it into the cute brown jar.. You would need to buy the candle wicks, but it's super easy.

put a candle in the wooden shoe mold - there's a hole that the cobbler would attach to an iron foot shaped holder and then the leather would be stretched over the wooden mold..very old..good find....yes, paint remover, nail polish remover or ??? would take the mushroom painting off...
I sometimes use old glass jars to put flowers or plants in. I think your amber glass jar would l
be perfect for that use. Love your channel.

Ultra Sonic pest repellents work. I have a few plugged in around my house. Get a good sized one for your basement. You’ll see a difference
