Mattel's biggest Jurassic World toy yet truly has to be seen to be believed! The massive Cretaceous sauropod Dreadnoughtus made its big screen debut in Dominion this summer, followed shortly thereafter by an equally gargantuan action figure that promised to dwarf every plastic dinosaur that came before it. Now that I've finally tracked Dreadnoughtus for myself, I'm unboxing (and assembling) this larger-than-life Jurassic toy and seeing how it stacks up to Mattel's Brachiosaurus, Apatosaurus, and more! In addition to comparisons, I'll be showcasing the enhanced articulation, layered paint application and fantastic sculpt detailing throughout the figure. Now we need the Mamenchisaurus and the JP3 Brachiosaurus in either the regular Jurassic line or the Hammond Collection.
And now we have both of those.
This is by far the best dinosaur toy that Mattel has ever created. And it's the biggest dinosaur toy ever made. It's even bigger than the Brachiosaurus and Super Colossal line. It's that massive. I think where I can actually see this one is only in a collectors giant shelf area or a children's playroom.
This is probably the biggest Sauropod figure that Mattel has made so far but I can’t afford getting this cause of the size

For all who think this Dinosaur is pretty, in reality it is even more. For myself, i gave him Osteoderms and a new Colour, to be a Parent for the Ampelosaurus.

@@batbat4043 Didn't make Photos or Videos, but maybe with the next one. This Gem is to pretty to stay alone. Then together with the Tail Extensions for the Apatosaurus and the feathers for the super Colossal Atrociraptors. If you start to repaint the Colossal Dinosaurs, it is Not easy to stop.

This figure of the mighty Dreadnoughtus is very impressive! Now, if Mattel can just release figures of Corythosaurus, Mamenchisaurus, Oviraptor, and Smilodon, then the collection of creatures from the Jurassic film franchise would be complete!
Smilodon? That wasn't in any of thr movies, and was not in the same time period.

I know Mattel can sometimes cut corners on repaints, lack of paint, and off proportions, but man. Hasbro and Kenner could never offer us this.

Kenner is still better than Mattel is quite a few ways. And sometimes Hasbro, just the Dinosaurs line and their Toys R Us line. Jurassic Park 3 was ok, not great. Their Jurassic World line was a nightmare.

@@damienbastings Yeah, when Hasbro first started with their Dinosaurs line, thats the best one. Rest of their other ones are ok. And then their Jurassic World line, disaster! I hope Hasbro gets the license back, if you look at their Star Wars and Marvel lines, quality is crazy amazing! And Mattel is trying to copy with their Amber Collection which was a huge flop in quality. Then their Hammond Collection, better but still bit of a flop in quality.
@@Tyresaurus I hope Hasbro never gets it back. Now I know Hasbro owns Kenner, therefore they might own the original Kenner sculpts, and if companies (Like Mattel) could just listen to the fans, we would see a modern Kenner dinosaur back on shelves
I never got to grow up with the Kenner line (I do own four of their dinosaurs and two humans)
But Hasbro royally screwed up. I think it's best Mattel keeps the rights. I'm growing up with Mattel, and both their Hammond Collection line and their upcoming dino trackers line is so far more promising. Also they plan to have a 30th anniversary for the line. I am curious

I got one! Btw, big fan. Lol I love it so much I named it Mr. Cuddles. I even pretend to feed it lol. In my dino corner, is so big I have to reset up everything. Also, meanwhile I take care of it, Dr. Wu abused indoraptor to force it to become a monster and people who have it don't care much for it they just buy it. Others are 4 or 4 and take terrible care of it-

@@eganite89 very few people would find the space for it, let alone kids, and in order to be light enough it would probably have to made from very cheap hollow plastic especially to make it affordable. While it would be cool, it would just be impractical and not a good seller. Especially compared to the current mosasaurus which is still currently the only rubber dinosaur in this toyline, and let's be honest a 6 feet long rubber toy would not be light. And keep in mind this is a toy, meant for kids
@@bigdiccdaddyjones Good points, but it would probably(hopefully) be hammond collection since all of those figures are supposed to be scale with each other and there's already a main line one which is way too small. I can dream lol.

Wonder how it eats without snapping it's jaw in half because it's jaw is so thin. Fun fact: It's actually accurate to the one in the film but not their real life counter part.

@@batbat4043 Get the Dread! The Apato is garbage, it looks horridness. The original Braichy is nice, but not cheap! The new Braichy is ok, cool but could off been better and wish they would just make the same one. So the Dread is your best option.
@@Tyresaurus My apato’s head broke off with great ease, the Brachiosaurus is great but it feels loose, I think the Dread is the best sauropod by far.
