Madara orchestrated the event and she was the catalyst to forego his plan. Later, Naruto reminds him who he is and leads by example, like saving Kakashi from Ten Tails attack Obito sees his older self again, and not Madara as the one he was told he is. The Obito who Kushina hoped her son would be like. He then immediately casted Rinne Rebirth to undo everything he did but Zetsu stopped him. He goes further to send every Jinchuuriki to Naruto and saves them from Kaguya.
