We've made our way to Ballarat and are enjoying the attractions around town, we head into Sovereign hill and check out the old historic town and the demonstrations inside. The Caravan park we stay at has an awesome private hot spa and who can pass up a cool wildlife park. On our way out of town we find an amazing waterfront free camp outside of Ballarat.

Hi guys we liked your Sovereign hill video brought back some good memories of our trip there and yes the coldest place in Australia is Ballarat. Watch out for Skippy Chels although I was very proud of you working up the courage to feed them😂😂 good luck with what’s up Downunder we used to watch that show back home. Love Sovereign Hill, not a cheap day, but a great fun day, the evening show is amazing, we did that many years ago and enjoyed it :) Our friends camp at Lake Burrumbeet and tell us how good it is, we've yet to check it out, but you've spurred us on to have a couple of nights there :)

Hi . We went to Ballarat in February and it’s great. The history there is amazing, especially the Old Baallarat Cemetery I know the spelling is as OG. The cemetery contains the memorials of the Eureka Stockade both police and miners, absolutely must see as it brings history to reality. Then see the magnificent Eureka museum which we were told was on the actual battle site, it includes the original flag from Eureka restored and on display. Cheers

Welcome to Ballarat and again I'm sorry it's been so cold and wet for your stay. It is a beautiful place regardless of the weather but it is a bit better when it is warm and sunny. I hope you got to see all of Ballarat and enjoyed your stay anyway. Good luck with the filming in Apollo Bay - it will probably be a bit cold and wet there too but I hope for your sakes it isn't all the same. Heading north sounds like a good idea but the south is a great place to be at any time of the year as well. Enjoy and safe travels. Deb

Glad you enjoyed Ballarat attractions, but not the weather. Ballarat is the best in summer, beautiful mornings, warm days but most of the time not too hot, barmy evenings, and cool nights to sleep.

Great spot in summer not so good in cooler months.Good luck with "Whats up down under " looking forward to seeing you on TV.All the hard work is starting to pay off. Hi guys, as a local i wouldn't free camp at burrumbeet to many bogans and ferrels get out there , hope you enjoyed your stay in Ballarat.
Can you do a review on the Ranger, comfort, what's it tow like, fuel economy etc
