That was gorgeous, Michael.
Love the way Jen captures all the dynamics and essence of Michael’s playing no matter the instrument. Cool vibe.❤️
Love my Fenders. But Gibson makes some beautiful hollow, semi hollow and acoustic guitars. Definitely no fluff or duff about that acoustic. Very Solid. Great job Jen and Michael.
Please cosider mic'ing these acoustic demos using exteral mic's to capture the highs and lows of the instrument, as well as the midrange. ❤
Beautiful guitar with a beautiful sound, you did that very well.
Now and then ~😊😊
Great job, thanks Mike and Jen
That was brilliant, and beautiful Michael.
That was very tastefully done, Lemmo! Nice work!
Beautiful!!
Beautiful
You’re awesome Mike
damnit, lemmo. you. are. rad. that song brings me to tears everytime, and you nailed it as per .. .
Very nice Micheal…
Bro’, that was amazing. I know you were just hacking it, but parts of it sounded almost like a multi-track studio mix.
Okay I bought my first J 200 from Norm in 1968 while attending Croydon Hall Academy in Atlantic Highlands after trading in a Gretsch, Country, Gentleman and an amp peg amp then it was off To Berklee Boston) thanks for an excellent presentation (Sir John would have been Proud) but I must say I was a little nervous that you demoed it in such tight quarters, and was afraid of an accidental dings 😂 i’ll go on your website and make arrangements for purchase ! Best Regards Peter HM 🎼
Excellent job as usual. What was that last song? It’s on the top of my tongue
Beautiful!!! How do you learn these songs? How long do you practice them before hand? I feel like this would take me weeks
Lemmo and FTF NICE!
Whooo! 🦜
Gueyker makes some clones of those tuners and they’re amazing, if you need to upgrade the tuners on any guitar I recommend them. I picked up a coupe of sets for $13 on Amazon and I kid you not they feel the same as $100 Grovers. Even ratioed them same and haven’t had one single tuning issue.
Their locking tuners on the other hand aren’t that great, there’s a bit o slop but even Fenders locking version have that.
I have a limited edition 1994 100th Anniversary reissue of one of these. Mine is flamed maple back, sides and neck though. Only 100 made.
Do you play it or are you keeping it clean for the next owner?
Great playing as usual’ the strings sounded almost to new’ just a little to bright’ but I’m sure it sounded a lot more rich and full in person ✌️
now and then
Finally Michael moocoustic back
What is Michael's MO?
Pretty guitar and nice playing. Don’t recognize the tunes. Have to say a Martin has that unique percussive dry sound that only a Martin has. Thanks
♥♥
Further to another's comment, is this strung with Bronze or Phosphor Bronze? (Sat remotely, this is something of a superfluous question, especially considering with open room recording the Guitar sounded great to me, but niggled to know the starting point ...)
👌😎
I know Lemmon is tall but he really makes that guitar look small
Nice guitar...however, not $9,400 Canadian nice, sorry..eh.😎 I have an Epiphone IBG J200, I like very much!
👍🏻✌❤😎
I like Lemmo's version better than the Beatles. Maybe that's sacrilege.
It’s not, music is subjective.
Big majestic tone finish looks A1. Lemmo has that connection with the instrument...powerful emotion. Spoiled by watching manyAngela re runs good 2 see Michael. My brother is called Michael 2. Sound is strong right up the neck..4 A New gibson impressive. the Cat ch. ~ media therapy.
If it's a 2023 model what makes it "pre war"?
World War III is around the corner...
bass heavy boomy sound. must be a j200! who likes that?
Strange sound martin way better on my ears crazy price d45 cheaper although good looking guitar
Every once in awhile you can see that some else has a broken heart.
This guy should be the Gibson rep not that unapproachable Mark Agnesi (can’t relate to that Ding Dong at all) this guys gets it with out trying too hard!
I've always preferred Martin for playability but I think Gibson sounds better - especially for recording. I do prefer Martin for bluegrass though.
Gibsons are the truth ! The tone of how a flat top guitar should sound like. Unbeatable IMHO
strings are too metallic sounding
Pre war??? what kind of war . Beautiful guitar though.
Reissue of a pre WW2 design
Pre-war in guitars is usually referred to as built before World War 2, so any guitar built before 1940. This is a Pre-war reissue which basically means it is built in 2023, however it’s modeled after and using the same building tools, techniques, woods etc as the real pre-war ones which are very rare and hard to get your hands on
Flagship Flat Top. Find Angela a J-200 junior & pry her loose from those gol dang hillbilly Martins.
😂 Gibson , pretty pointless then keeping a guitar for ninety plus years then. I'll wait for the newer pre war one in 2033. Masterclass in bullshit pr. Not really vintage then Norm. 😢. Shame .
Just cause it’s a Gibson doesn’t mean it’s bad lol
@@GoudLoodje it's supposed to be vintage guitars. Misleading . Gibson pre war. It's a waste . Who will want a 2023 copy in ten or twenty years time. I'm sure it's a great new guitar now. But vintage. Yeah we all know where to buy new guitars. Just disappointed with this on this Amazing vintage guitar channel. What's next a new vintage Chibson copy. It's as pointless buying a new Gibson copy as buying a Chibson copy. Not real. Call the guitar something else. It's Not vintage on a vintage guitar show. I'm appalled . So r my mates in Australia. Extremely hard to find guitars of vintage quality outside of the great USA. There is only 18 second hand Gibson acoustic guitars on Reverb , available in Australia. Not for Australia.
@@peterholliday6126 I get what you mean, but it’s not like other big companies like Martin aren’t doing it. They call their guitar a “1937” guitar when it’s built in 2023. I think they called it pre-war so that the consumer better knows what to expect, since it’s basically an exact copy of the actual pre-war models in every possible way, from the neck shape to the bindings to the bracing etc. Also, honestly I’d much prefer to have a used pre-war based guitar from 2000 than a brand new one, as new will always be the worst a guitar is ever gonna sound. But yeah I do agree that the title of the video and stuff is misleading. If it’s not a real pre-war (and I know Norm’s has a bunch of pre-wars) say it’s based on a pre-war or something
Wipes the oil off his nose with thumb/finger..rubs forehead..touches guitar...pretty gross.
That's why they invented towels 😉
Lubrication is needed its brand new😂
@@michaelmadron8654 😄😄😄
You pick a Dumb beetle song for a guitar like that????WTH! F Norm's.
Go research your chassis kid.
Why does it matter it’s from the Beatles though? It’s just a popular song right now and it’s played very well in the video so why do you even care
