Some people say it's boring.. seriously? the moment I start playing as Sam, walking throughout those beautiful landscape, that's when I start to fall in love with this game. I just want more and more...so exciting!
the 4k textures actually leave a lot to be desired. it just looks okay honestly

Exactly the same here. Started the game and instantly got sucked in the Kojima world. It’s the same with Elden Ring. You have to put effort in the game the be rewarded with amazing stuff en exploration. These games are not for the COD players out there.

I played death stranded by traveling only on foot on ps4 the immersion is unreal
I put 200hrs into the game on PS4 pro and loved every minute.
Same here and started all over again on PS5, good times.
I’m at 400 and I won’t be stopping any time soon.

Great choice, Directors Cuts of Ps4 games tend to be very good on Ps5, Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut is very good too, definitely some of the best i played on Ps5 and im quite happy to play the best versions in my first run.
I'm most impressed with the fact you aren't a metal gear fan and still recognize the value in what hideo has done. Cool review sure this game is not for everyone, but it is revolutionary regardless. I love death stranding and already have finished the regular game and achieved 5 stars on most all vendors , I’m looking forward to upgrading to directors cut and toying with the new features and gadgets !

Cool review bro very in depth. I would have liked to have known the differences between directors cut and the base game though.
I love the twist in the final pizza delivery mission . The person who you were delivering the pizza to threw me for a loop. Fragile is a great character to the point that she could've fit in Metal Gear Solid 4. Mama's conclusion was incredible. This game still have the best licensed soundtrack that I've ever heard. I've beaten the ps4 version a few years ago and have the PS5 version. This world is so beautiful but yet so horrifying. It makes RE looks tame. No matter how powerful my Sam gotten those BTs felt threatening and otherworldly. Huge tip for any new player, try to build roads and ziplines as soon as possible, especially ziplines in the snow area. Top 3 best games ever made in existence imo no contest. Keep on keeping on gamers.
Death Stranding is absolutely amazing! It is so fresh, creative, the world is so detailed, amazing performances from the cast, the story, vibe, truly no other game quite like it, Hideo Kojima is a true creative genius. Love the Director’s Cut PS5 version 😊

The point you made about playing till midnight and thinking you can finish a delivery before bed is spot on. I setup a home automation to basically force me away from the game because I lose all track of time when playing.

Ive just started to play the directors cut, and its a beautiful looking game , its something that i want to really take my time on.im autistic, and there are certain elements in this game that are very soothing, and you get a sense of completion and satisfaction from the things you do .
Muse's song, "Plug In Baby" would have been perfect 👌 for the soundtrack in this game!😉
I’m surprised you don’t have more subscribers or likes. I personally think this was one of the best reviews of the game and I played over 150hours of it and loved every minute of it. Definitely a masterpiece i complexity agree but I had no doubts when it comes to kojima I will always buy any game this guy makes no matter what lol.
I played it around 350h on ps4. Restarted it now on PS5. I can understand why some people don't like DS, because the pace throughout the game is pretty lame. But i just love it. Weird but amazing!

I decided to install this game as it is on PS Plus. I only got my PS5 a few weeks ago after playing Xbox for years so it’s nice having access to all exclusives.
I always thought Death Stranding looked boring as some call it the “Walking Simulator” however I do love the Walking Dead and love Daryl Dixon and after watching a few gameplay videos, I’m going to give the game a chance as I see more people saying the game is great than I see folks saying it’s a Walking Simulator. I do feel I haven’t watched enough proper reviews to make a judgement on the game.
And a game where I play as one of my The Walking Dead characters. Yes please 😌

Why didn't you mention the new vehicles like the Roadster?
I got the regular deaths stranding is it still a masterpiece?
He never got to the multiple grenade usage, how effective urinating is,, how mules slip on ex grenades,, called Ben Hancock's bike "another players that I used for 10 hours, never got the anti bt handgun. Never got the wrist cutter to cut bt cords, mule machine gun turrets,, never mentions the mecha sized bts, never mentions the assault rifles or shotgun. Sticky gun, incineration bodies.. not even a road.

Tired of old boring FPS, RTS, RPG, Platformers and so on, decided to go for DS Director's cut in 2023. Oh boy, an emotional journey and a different one from the standard gaming experiences.

This game is like the original 'Blade Runner',... It will take time, like a cult following, that will propel it as a remarkable game playing masterpiece. Its just the world isn't ready yet to absorb the world of Death Stranding.

Bought the Director's Cut a couple of weeks ago. Since then, I've only gotten to Chapter 2. I'm just curious to see where the story goes. Otherwise, I find it a boring game so far.
I hope you kept pushing through. Cuz the first 2 chapters are indeed a little slow. But maaaan... once you hit Chapter 3, so much changes! The world opens up more to you, the story ramps up, you get so many more rewards/things to fabricate, so much more map to cover, it's nuts. I hope somebody told you to stick w/it. Cuz it's damn worth it.
Dammit, I'm beyond stoke for the sequel after seeing the trailer yesterday!! 🤌😎
