such a smooth and simple guide, the example of a purple fire ring against a wall was genius, well done.
theres a "2023 guide" posted on youtube for this fight and its so outlandish with the gear recommended and the prayer flicking that i cant even as an iron. this was extremely straight-forward and made me go from thinking "yeah i dont think i can do this" to "huh. maybe i'll try it". Awesome video.

Decided to do more bossing on slayer tasks and had to brush up on my GG knowledge. Really nice guide and got back into with an 11, almost 12kc trip. Enjoyable boss if you don't want anything too mind burning.

Best guide bro I’m 5 in lol first kill was 6:10 because I kept forgetting mechanics lol personal best now 2:30 haha I’m using similar gear but just a 4 switch for ranged. Ezpz task is for 229 gargoyles so hopefully I’ll have a decent cash stack trying to get ranged upgrades this should help!

I like how this guide wasn't like "ok, so for melee i'm using full torva, but if you cant afford that you really should use at least full bandos" Simple, easy to follow!

First attempt I used most of my food on the last phase but the kill went pretty smoothly thanks!

Just got a brittle key, can't wait to farm this boss on gargoyle tasks, trying to get my first pet
If you attack Dusk fast enough you can get two hits in before Dawn flys away, and three hits before Dusk uses his special attack. 5 hits before he specs is as many as I've been able to get consistently.
I just did this for the first time at 93 slayer with gear similar to yours. Not as bad as I thought wish I started sooner tbh.

@@QuickOSRS Haha the wording was just really funny on that. Also, quick thoughts on wearing a barrows top at lower defense levels? I've never tried testing it, but it seems like an interesting debate. Could go for veracs for prayer and some defense too, but that seems a little silly.
@@CaptBartBortlett lol if you ever wear any Barrows top it should always be Karils by Default.
@@Triqkshot I'd agree with you in general, but you get slapped around on the final phase if you have a low level. I've always had Bandos for it, but the fighter torso dps vs trip length and tickloss where defense actually kinda matters makes it less one-sided than normal. Torags would likely be flat out better assuming the defense leads to a bigger time save. If it was anywhere else then the eating tickloss would be mitigates by time between kills, but any time between kills at GGs is timeloss anyways

They may not be the best for money but it's a nice change of pace when it comes to a slayer task.
Yeah the only reason people really do it is for the pet apart from that I really don’t see any need to do the boss version but it is something different I suppose.

Personally I wouldn't recommend that many super restores at all. Those sara brews don't drop nowhere near enough. Still a good guide though.

never tried this one and have 21k gargoyle kills. Decided to try used your guide, very easy and simple boss.
Guide explained it well.
I try to stand under dusk during dawns 2nd phase aswell as during 1st phase.
find that saves a little hp

Too bad the loot of the boss is garbage reward compared to just doing normal gargoyles. This is quite a fun fight but the rewards for beating a boss is lacking.
