- With arguably the best Nintendo Direct EVER dropped on February 13 2019, you know it was long past due to break down all the announcements, summarize it, add in my own thoughts and talk about the big releases.
We had amazing games like Mario Maker 2, a remake of Link's Awakening, DragonQuest XIs, Yoshi's Crafted World, and Astral Chain with a ton of smaller announcements.
We also take a few minutes and see how all those leaks and rumors for the Nintendo Switch did after the fact!

I am so hyped for Links awakening too. Though was hoping for a mini N64 reveal
I don't think the internet could handle an N64 reveal!
I think we're still a little ways off that.
I'd say we get a more expensive Nintendo Switch Online Service at the 1 yer mark the includes SNES games and then an even more expensive ones at the 2 year mark that includes N64. Just a guess but you heard it here first!
Link's Awakening will make me play my Switch. I loooove the graphics engine.
Couldn't agree more! If it wasn't for my stupendously long backlog of games I'm replay the original on my GameBoy Color in it's honor!
You can never get too much fire emblem SK! I thought this was a good direct. I’m hyped for links awakening and obviously fire emblem (both day 1 purchases) I’m also highly interested in dragon quest and Mario maker 2. A little disappointed there was no animal crossing or Metroid prime mentions but you can’t get everything!
Apologies for taking my sweet ass time on the reply!
Thanks for watching and it was truly an awesome direct. There was SOO much not in it including Luigi's Mansion, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Bayonetta 3 (except a 6 second mention), Animal Crossing and a whole bunch more that we know about plus a bunch more unannounced games.
For the average person, that may have been too much Fire Emblem but I'm with you and I can;t get enough info about it. Link's Awakening almost brought me to tears lol and one thing is for certain, 2019 will be a great YEAR to be a gamer!
