I changed my 4 digit code and erased the original 4 digit code. Why does it make me enter the code twice in order to open or close?
Also after changing the code, my DoorBird that also controls the gate opener no longer seems to work. It says it is triggering the relay but nothing happens. It is like the DoorBird app lost its credentials when I changed the 4 digit code on the Linear keypad.
Also after changing the code, my remote door openers needed to be reprogrammed as it seemed like it removed their authentication as well.
Does this work with the MDTK model as well?
can I add Multiple codes for different people ? or temp codes
Is the master code the 123456 the original Pass code ???
Yes
I have 2 of these setups for 1 gate, 1 outside, and another inside. I programmed both with new codes but the inside one doesn't allow my remotes to work after typing a code. The solid green light stays on, so I have to enter the code again for the light to turn red, then the remotes will work. What did I do wrong?
I have same situation...tech support can't figure it out either...would love to know this answer
How do you change the master code?
how erease all codes wit out code i forget the code and i need re install other new code
You will need the key to open the keypad to reset master code .If you have the key then steps are…
Step1: Open keypad
Step2: locate jumper JP2. This jumper is used to reset the master code.
Step3: with power applied to the keypad, remove jumper JP2. The keypad will begin to beep, signaling that the code has been reset.
Step4: put JP2 jumper back.
THE MASTER PROGRAMMING CODE IS NOW (123456)
Steps below are for FACTORY RESET.
THIS WILL MASTER RESET KEYPAD TO FACTORY SETTINGS ERASING ALL MEMORY INCLUDING EXISTING ENTRY CODES.
Step 1: disconnect power from keypad
Step2: press and hold (* and #) keys
Step3: connect power while holding (* and #) until the red LED starts flashing
Step4: release the (* and #) the red & yellow will remain lit until the process is complete.
Hope this helps
Have a blessed day 👏
@@lowvoltagehowtos499 Do you have a video on this Master resting process??? I have a manager leave and took all the codes with him... Need to set new master and gate opening codes....
Also how many codes can be stored on this key pad????
@@johnnylujan648 Hello Johnny, do you have the physical key 🔑 to open the keypad with the lock located on the bottom of the keypad?
@@lowvoltagehowtos499 I am looking for that now... If i cannot find the key, I will have locksmith come and open it then have a new lock and or key made.... I think i found how to do it once I get it open.... Think I will be setting it back to factory and then starting over with new master and then access codes....
