Back in the 80s and early 90s, just about everyone baited. Especially late season. We have gone several years now, without being able to bait. I have more success now, than ever. But for a late season freezer full, you can’t beat it. To each their own
Our area has been a baiting county for many years, it is not my preferred way to hunt, but it is legal and is not an easy hunt for a buck despite popular opinion hahah. I tried killing bucks over bait for 5 seasons straight and only saw one shooter…haha!
We get to hunt deer in the rut that is the most vulnerable time of year for deer so what are we talking about
The rut def is a good time to kill em! also one issue we run into up here is the big bucks often drop early to mid december so you miss out on a month of hunting that deer late season!@@JimBowSlice

Yes and the interesting thing about up here is that there are bait piles every quarter mile in every direction and sometimes more than that so if a guy doesn’t feed he will have no deer on the property! I prefer non baiting but this is a challenge to kill a mature buck this way!
Anyone arguing about hunting deer over bait you get to hunt deer in the rut. When deer are most vulnerable get over your self
Yes and many hunters go to areas in big buck states so that they have better odds (easier) of killing a mature buck 😂😂
Nice shot .... Could of been the camera angle but it looked as if your arrow was flying knoch high tip low wouldn't hurt to give her a paper tune cold weather can did some weird stuff to limbs and stings

The doe hunt over corn is def an easy hunt on this property, but it is super tough to kill a buck over corn up here. Very rarely do bucks step out in daylight. Not my preferred way to hunt, but it is legal and is not easy to kill a buck like people think.
I Like your channel and No disrespect but I cant get into the whole bait n shoot situation. Watching that deer just standing there looking a dog waiting to be fed while the guy spreads the feed doesn’t seem much like hunting.
The does are very comfortable around the feed, it is an easy hunt yes. But we are trying to manage the does because they are so overpopulated. Bucks are a different story, we often go years without killing one. They are very wary of bait sites. Very rarely do you kill a mature buck in a situation like this up here. Doug hunted hard all season for that opportunity!
Why don't you just hunt at a Zoo. At feeding time. They have warming shelters too! Unsubscribed
Well technically we had a heater going on the tower stand 😂😂😂 the does are thick on this property! Way out of balance that is why we are trying to take out some does. Very tough to kill a buck up here in the big woods.
