Look beyond this and you'd find a darker side to Ukraine. That of a nation riddled with corruption. Kyiv is plagued with highly compromised institutions with zero accountability. And under President Zelensky too, things largely remain as is. But here's the thing: the Eastern European nation is desperately seeking to enter the European Union. For that to fructify, Zelensky has to get his house in order. After all, it'll be these conditions the EU will use to deny Ukraine a membership
