Rallycross is an exciting rally racing motorsport using upgraded rally cars to race side by side on special mixed surface race tracks of dirt and asphalt.
Since 1967 rallycross has been entertaining fans of motorsports with short, fast rally car racing with qualifying, semi finals and final races all with epic car race battles and motorsport crashes.
In 2014 rallycross was FIA sanctioned to become the FIA World Rallycross Championship. World RX events are now at worldwide rallycross venues and famous F1 circuits around the world. The best rallycross cars have over 600bhp and can accelerate from 0-60mph in less than two seconds - faster than an F1 car.
Famous World Rally Championship drivers have competed in World Rallycross such as Sébastien Loeb and Petter Solberg who became World RX Champion in 2014 and 2015. The first driver to win two FIA championships, WRC and WorldRX.
Rallycross has featured world famous drivers like Ken Block, Jacques Villeneuve,
Reinis Nitišs, Mattias Ekström, Andreas Bakkerud, Timur Timerzyanov, Toomas Heikkinen, Tanner Foust, Johan Kristoffersson, and brothers Timmy Hansen and Kevin Hansen.
World Rallycross has a strong history of innovation with exciting features like the Joker Lap adding fascinating tactics to every race! This innovation continues as World RX transitions towards electric motosport. RX2e electric race cars make their debut in 2021, with the first World RX electric racing season using awesome 500Kw RX1e electric race cars in 2022. - Sport
What have you made of the season so far?
Kristofferson is goated
Rustad trying to plough straight through that tire barrier 😂😂😂 10/10 for optimism
Dirt 4 introduce me to rallycross and im in love with this motorsport ever since, go on Kristoffersson you are the best 👍👍👍
I was introduced by Dirt 3 and Rally, but I enjoy 3 and 4's arcade-like nature
Kristoffersson is seemingly unbeatable and invincible.
this should be more hyped then F1 or andy other motosport. This is REAL drive :D bump and touches.
i love how this guys drive other sport where touches and some bumps are legal at some point is nascar
Dirt Rally 2 introduced me to Rallycross and i am really having fun with it
Hey, remember when the full races from yesteryear were available to watch for free? Generating excitement for new fans? That was great.
Can't wait for the German round at the Estering. See you in october.
Absolutely loved the season so far!! Can't wait for the GB round hopefully see more banks for better viewing over the weekend? Cheers guys!!
It seems like RX is something some very bored and very drunk Finns came up with in the 70's. Its my favorite Sport.
15:12 That merge tho
Still watching this highlights from 2018 during corona pandemics 😇
The best video ever. Thanks!

Will Lyden hill ever return
I first saw this on tv. It was love at first sight.
I want to do this one day. Challenges, though. I live in America.
Don't you have Global Autocross which I think is better?
Global Rallycross is defunct, but we do have a new one called ARX, which replaced GRC. I could start there.

Where is Maney?
Ekstrom just tries to drive through people
How are there so many finals? Can somone explain? Im new
There are I believe 4 qualifying heats, those decide the 12 drivers with the most points out of those heats. Those 12 get split into 2 semi finals, the top3 of each semi-final goes on to the final race of the event
@@Yakovlev_Norris that explains the amount of finals I was going on about. Thank you!
Andrew coley "contact"
Loeb won 1 round
I bet all my money Kristoffersson wins

M G you want kristofferson out of WRX? :o
Adrian Jahnsen yes him and vw aswell THEYVE RUINED THE CHAMPIONSHIP why you think manufactures leaving left right and centre the sport dying and VW a massive part of the downfall 👎
M G how would you define that one manufacturer team can ruin a complete championship?
Adrian Jahnsen you may think this season been the best championship LOL the sports dead 💀💀💀 Vw are part of it due to the dominance forcing manufacturers to leave left right and centre due to that and uncertainty like what almost happened in WRC but now 4 different manufacturers winning in 2018 wrc again with VW leaving join the movement #IMGOUTOFWRX
M G soo because VW had a brilliant driver, and a good car witch results in many victories, the sport is dead. What about WRC when Sebastian Loeb was winning all the time, heard nothing about “the sport is dead” the two first rally cross seasons, petter solberg was world champion in both, nobody said the sport was dead. Peugeot are pulling back because they want to focus on electric rallycross cars. Ford I don’t know. Audi already has soo many genres they are competing in that it’s not so wrong of them to prioritize different.
NASCAR has nothing on this.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Peugeot the Cars are very bad, and easy to pass, don't win, I Sorry.....!
