It's funny how much better the quality of plays gets as soon as we switch from the LCS mids to Pawn. Not that Febiven's plays weren't impressive, but even the solo-kill on Faker wasn't an insane "WHAT WAS THAT!?" type play. Then Pawn comes along and just puts on a show.

We have all seen xpeke's backdoor, but (at least) I, have not seen many of the clips in this video. Faker is overrated. Now, don't get me wrong, he is a fantastic mid laner and a better player than I will ever be, but the only reason he is so "good" is because SKT1 gets him fed and no one else. They make him the carry of the whole fuckin team and he gets praised for it. He's so overrated as a pro player because he's set up to be -_-
+TheIntelligentGam3r Not really, there have been plenty of times he gets camped and comes out of lane 0-3 or down 10 cs, but he always comes back. Plus if you've been watching worlds, in literally all games he hasn't received 1/4th of the amount of ganks as MaRin. Is he over rated? A little bit (with people saying he used to have a 3rd summoner spell and stuff like that) but he's also by far the best. He has an incredibly large champ pool, his mechanics are by far the best and in pretty much any game he's ever played (excusing the match between SKT and SSW) he's looked good. During MSI skt got Bang a head all the time and Faker still looked like a beast.
Tam puts all their faith in bjergsen but he still can't carry. And you're wrong even when faker goes 0-2 he's still farmed and showing his skills..and the there's bang who's also a monster
I know he's a fantastic player, that's what I even said, I'm just saying he's overrated. Either way, I don't want SKT to win Worlds. I want any other team to win because SKT is expected to curb stomp the fuck out of everyone and it's just gonna be boring to watch

Pawn is better than faker when pawn was still in samsung white. He solo killed Faker 3 times to eliminate SKT's hope going to S4 world championship. Pawn doesn't mechanically outplay Faker but out smart Faker. He knew when to go in or not and play map well
Jonas Lam And Febiven solokilled him twice, it has nothing to do with who is better. In SSW, pawn was the 4th - 5th best player of the team, right now he is better than he has ever been and still he (despite being among the best mid laners) is for more than a lvl behind.

i really liked the video, but honestly Maple is looking way better right now then Westdoor. And maybe Kami deserves some love as well if pobelter made it in, Ryu 2, but that is just beside the point good video.
I actually can't think of a bad mid laner from any of the teams made appearance in season 5 worlds.
People say "faker" without even knowing how he has performed, just because he has been the best for a long time. He is not as good as he was and there is better midlaners then him right now.
LCK isnt the only region in the world buddy. Inb4 he is going to underperform in worlds. He even said it himself in an interview that he had been underperforming and that he hoped to reach the level he once were.
Faker is probably the most humble best player of all time for any sport lol. He is still the best player in the world, but the meta does not favor mid lane carries, that is why he does not look as dominant.
If you are so confident, please give me an example of another top 5 team in the world that relies on its midlaner like SKT does. Maybe Rookie, but you can't deny that Faker is better than him.
If you compair other big names like Pawn and Godv to him it is obvious that they are not the main carries of their team.

Im not a TSM or NA fan, but IMO Bjergsen is the best mid laner at Worlds because i like his playstyle. He times his ult really good so the plays look smooth and easy.
He also won the All Star 1v1 so...
I'm Brazilian. And Kami isn't very good to stay here, he's a good player but not so much, in global championship he's worse than other players.
