It's not so easy job to remove it on my phone: spent half a hour to do this and a lot of alcohol. 🙂Maybe my phone had extra strong glue. 🙂Very helpful video. I got my screen exchanged from a local shop and well the very next day…the screen is full of broken statics and discolouration too. I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE TO GET A REPLACEMENT FROM A LOCAL SHOP. I am so sad that my parents’ money got wasted.

Yes if you use an unoriginal screen or screens that support the sensor There’s always a risk when repairing a screen that some things will not work I am probably not right so do more research before doing the repair

I didn't believe the videos on the non-responsive/black screen issues that massaging it would work, but now that I'm seeing the connectors, I'm believing that some firm pressure over those connectors will resolve my issue. I've been able to find temporary resolution by twisting the phone. Seeing the internals give me a better idea what might be wrong!
Did you check the finger print sensor after repairing? I got my screen replaced yesterday from the authorized samsung service centre and the finger print sensor stopped working.
Hi, my fingerprint sensor was working fine. Your fingerprint sensor is not working because of recent security updates released by Samsung. The sensor needs recalibration after screen replacement. Service centre should be able to do that. Please check with them.

Hi guys, depending on your area, you will have to find a trusted source for original display. There are lots of aftermarket display available for cheap but they are not good quality. Try on ifixit.com or witrigs.com

Hi, because of the recent software updates, after display replacement your fingerprint sensor may not work. So better go to samsung service centre for display replacement.

It's also 10,000 times easier to just replace the lcd digitizer part- , and not the part that comes with a new frame attatched. 10000 times. Easier.

Hi, that's the vibrator. You can takeout the vibrator from your previous screen and add it to new screen.
