Really cool. I may have to build a vacuum pot and try some of this. I saw post where somebody did this with pot scrubbing (scotch-brite?) pads. I've seen them in green and blue. Maybe there are other colors too. The blue turned out amazing with a unique, almost sparkly, look. Endless possibilities
The amber colored one is perfect! I'll be interested to see what you put them on... I'd probably make a nice camp chopper with a good sized handle so you can preserve as much of the cone as possible... plus it fits the theme.

I’ve been looking at stabilizing and i think ill have to make another one instead of forking over the cash. Oh and if you need more pine cones i live in colorado I’d be happy to walk out to my yard and pic a few up for you! Great work as always!

I stabilize the cones with red-dyed resin. The cross-section of such a pine cone looks brilliant, something like flames! Regards!
