I know that there are billions of people around the world who feel anger - justified anger - toward the U.S. and its weaponized dollar and its wars. But the new currency - if that is to be the trade mechanism of the future - must have absolutely rock solid foundations. Anger has certainly moved "the Global South" to act. I'm not dissing righteous anger. But emotion needs to be set aside in order to think through every aspect, every potential consequence and every detail of a new currency.
