R15 is so smooth. Even at 145kmph, there was no stress in the engine unlike in Ktm duke 200. However, with a little bit more investment, you can get faster and more comfortable Dominar 400.

The launch of duke in the first race was a little sober...the duke could have created a huge acceleration gap...... And overtaking would have taken a little more time....
Also, in second race the r15 slip streamed for a while.... So it managed to stay close....
Then what about mt 15 vs duke 200.. still it can't beat mt 15 in any aspect whether it is initial or top end.

@@BharatSharma-dm9ot that is a misleading video(it is easy to mislead people using drag races as it is a game of milliseconds) .... If the r15 is unable to get ahead of the duke at 144 kmph.... Then how can mt or the ns overtake it so easily.... (It's contradicting.....)
And there isn't much difference between r15 & the mt15.(according to the channel you have referred)

Check both races...
The mt stays beside the r15 till an average of 80-100 kmph..... After that it falls behind.... The drag difference becomes huge if the Mt doesn't slipstream....
Furthermore early in that channel (rider azam)...... rs200 bs6(2020 model)used to stay behind the duke till it hit it's rev limiter..... And also mt 15 used to lose to rs200 from beginning till end....
Then all of a sudden duke lost to the mt.... Which doesn't make any sense.....
That's why it is safer to go by authentic channels for performance nos.....

I wonder what would be the result of RC200 vs V3. Being a V3 owner, this video made me proud, once again! ❤️😎
I would like to add my personal experience. These videos are a bit misleading if you are basing your decision to buy on these top end drags. I had the Duke 200 BS3 for 50,000 kms and absolutely loved the power. Unfortunately, due to some financial emergency I had to sell it last year. Thankfully after a few months I got the chance to buy a bike again and this time I went for R15 V3 BS6. While the bike is refined and smooth the feeling of power and that punch of acceleration is just totally lacking. I don't feel that raw pull that I felt from the Duke. The Duke is tuned differently, not for top speed but to pull aggressively. It is geared shorter and the power delivery is more frantic. Ride both and you will know. Though I am enjoying my R15 V3, I really miss the power of the Duke.
Also, you need special conditions for the R15 V3 to reach 140+. On the windy highways around Hyderabad, I could only manage 138 kph top. It just wouldn't go further even though I was flat on the tank (I weigh 82 kgs).
I am 81 kgs my yamaha R15 version 3 bs4 has clocked 150+ BS4 👌
@@ganeshbharadwajshooter1913 like I said. It depends on conditions. Around here the crosswinds have been severe. After it gets to 136-138 it just refuses to go further and then the open road runs out.
@@centaursam7254 it depends upon techniques air pressure in tyres chain sprocket conditions
@@ganeshbharadwajshooter1913 I maintained those as per the manual's specifications. Also the bike is new (only 3500 kms done) so the chain and sprocket are in good condition. Technique was pretty much shifting at redline 11,500 rpm. I could tell the wind was holding me up because while the bike was still at 10500 rpm and doing 138 it had at least another 1000-1500 rpm to go.

Duke's engine is tuned for acceleration and due to short gearing top will be obviously Compromised and upon that ktm themselves limited the top speed even more coz ktm can handle speeds over 138 or 140kmph as they seize of quickly
Talking about Yamaha
R15
Gearing is tall and I accept it. That doesn't mean acceleration is weak and top speed is great.
R15 is 155cc and acceleration and top speed is far better than 150 to 180cc bikes.
Then how come being a tall geared 155cc has faaar better acceleration than 150cc bikes???
That's because Yamaha makes their R series bikes extremely powerful.
Talking about engine it's king of refinement and zero issues on engine Coz its Japanese and Yamaha and other Japanese engines have proved long ago that their engines have negligible issue and are long lasting.
Being a 155cc and competing with 200cc bike is something a great challenge. But bikes like r15 v3 is not a big task.
(R15 V3). Bhai Mai pahale duke Lena Chahta thaa. Lekin bekar yaar, sirf look hai OR kuchh nahi. Ab r15 v3 HI lunga. Meri hight or bazat bhi sahi lag rhi hai. Thank you so much help ful video.

Mt15 stays with r15 only till 100/110. Ns200 stays with r15 till 135 (approx.). After this the r15 cruises ahead.
But here the r15 manages to cross the duke only after 145kmph.
5 months back i thought duke reaches a max of 133/134. But now i see it reaching 141/142kmph. In few other videos i see the same(141/142kmph)

Ktm engines doesn't last long bro due to very high compression ratio which beyond the limit for a particular cc, very much lack of refinement and lot of vibrations on ktm's u will get to after some months or more than 1 year
Talking about r15 it's Yamaha and Yamaha is japanese brand. Their engines are superior and high quality products are used thats why their engines last long and Japanese machines are extremely refined and 0 vibrations.
Edit: that's why engines heat a lot and sometimes gets off if u ride it too much in cities or ride at lower speeds at higher gears......
