They got rid of him eventually, and the team continued on with different Runaways being added or otherwise moving on, but that storyline pretty much ended the main original series.
Ooh, yeah! And then Marvel brought back Alex as the main antagonist of a REALLY GOOD Power Man/Iron Fist run. He did some dark magic stuff, and was a real pain in the ass for Luke and Danny. It's not relevant at all, but it's neat Marvel hasn't forgotten about him, I think

14:07 I think Carol absorbed the energy from the device and went binary. In another preview stream the player didnt get her binary in the first stage of the fight, but then after the cutscene she started the second phase in binary mode.
I'm not much of a blade fan, but after watching you eviscerate Venom with him, and accidentally power level him, I can't help but be rooting for him to become your best hero.
I know that the heroes don’t kill, but all those attacks the heroes use on the villains would either kill or put them in a coma, and I know they have fancy armor which protects them from most of the attacks, but falling off a cliff ,being hit into electrical outlets and out objects would kill them or break their bones permanently crippling them.

Yeah! That's the one. It's usually used by Loki or Malekith (that evil elf from Thor 2) to threaten Earth in the comics. It's not an Infinity Gauntlet-level artifact, but it's still fun when it shows up
My biggest complaint about the game so far is the shielded hydra soldier. They shouldn't have the ability to shield to protect something, run out and attack, then run back and shield something again.
Great idea with doing both let's play and streams odd, means we can have bite size chunks and in depth viewings. Especially with doing the opposite hunters

I would never have thought that Firaxis, known for turn-based strategy and 4X, would be the ones to make a Bioware-style dating/friendship sim... but the josswhedonesque banter is a common thread with the MCU so maybe I shouldn't be surprised.
My only qualm with this game is it's a card game. (and web slingers swing from clouds) Card games run on RNG and RNGesus hates me, so every hand is a bad hand. I much prefer went it's my fault that everything went wrong rather than the game's own mechanics.
About The runaways and Alex long story short Alex was a traitor who may or may not be dead or alive in some other interdimensional plane yeah it's kind of weird he also didn't have any powers or tech he was just really really smart and manipulative

Great episode! Something I noticed during the first battle is that when you used the photo beam, the wall surronding the map broke. This might make it so that you can plan it out to break the wall, then knock people off the map!

"Mother's device" went ahead and rolled a nat 1. RIP also : the Casket of Ancient Winters is the cuboid, blue artifact seen in the first Thor movie. It is seen in use several times, amongst which on Midgard during the Viking times, in a Frost Giant attempt to enslave our planet.
spoiler - gert is not dead, chase invented time travel, so when gert is about to die he travel her to the future saving her, just at that time the runaways did not know that.His love for where was so big that he save her but take her from him on the past to the future him.
Gameplay feels more complicated than it looks, plus it seems like you can try and overlevel your characters if you don't mind the low star ratings of missions. Having two heavy hitters on the squad feels very restricting when you can only play 3 cards per turn, so either have Strange be in the Squad with a heavy hitter or pair the HH with someone who can have multiple quick play cards might be ideal on the early game.
love this series, but Is it just me that is bothered by Blade sometimes drawing his sword with his left hand and then suddenly having it in his right? check 33:30 :D
Hi loving the playthrough though I think you were a little too hyper focused on the binary mechanic that's just my opinion though overall having a great time

Is it too much to ask that they craft action that makes sense, like them storming the lab instead of waiting for people to fight them on the roof? Come on. You can make a lab with enough space for a fight if you want to.

Yeah the trick was going to work a lot of people don’t play mobile games but are big comic book fans. You can’t really blame them for tapping into a market. Me personally I’ve never played a mobile game but I’m a super hero fan and love playing tactical rpgs so I thought I’d give it a shot and it turns out while all the running around talking to people kind of sucks the combat is really pretty good.
Thing is a good game on mobile is almost always shit. There are exceptions to this but they are always great games or are simply made for the mobile experience like Fate Grand Order, some anthologies and like Angry Birds maybe while I have never had a good experience with a mainstream comics/anime mobile game with the sole exception of FGO

I truly appreciate that they brought Lyrica Okano back to reprise her role as Nico from The Runaways TV show.

As someone who watched the Blade Trilogy as a kid and then the Blade anime back in college, it's nice to see Blade being present in most medias.
Blade is one of my favorite characters in this game. It's great he gets to kick ass and be a down-to-earth good guy for once.

in the runaway comics nico summons the staff while on her period. it was a cool part of the story.
I'm fairly certain Nico was dating Alex in the comics, so I like that I can feel the hurt in Lyrica's voice acting.

How about using knockback attacks to put enemies in range of environmental hazards? Like you do in DOS
This is definitely better after you get more training levels, since that makes environment attacks way stronger. Early on, it's not that important.

Wish enemies could one shot kill your chrs, this game seems too easy compared to xcom 2
Maybe you should do an Ironman mode yourself. Cannot redo actions and if someone dies you can't use him/her anymore.
