Another enjoyable presentation from Mr Woo. The F100 with the smaller battery grip is a better looking camera. It would be good for Mr Woo to get hold of a Nikon FM3a and do a full review on it. It’s the combination of the FM2 and the FE2 with any bad bits taken away. This camera and my F3 are my two pieces of Nikon film camera heaven.
Great informative look back at Nikon”s film camera history. No idea that the Nikon FA matrix metering only worked in the landscape position. I love my F100 with the BG. Thanks John for this video, Ted.
Another great job Mr Woo! It would be interesting to see all the Nikonos line of cameras. Not to mention nikon specialty lenses like the Medicil lenses. I have an F100 and I love it. It is interesting how the last film Nikon cameras were set up to make way for the digital cameras confirmations. Yes, I would like to have a presentation of the Rollei SL 66. I owned one and I rue the day I sold it.
Thank you. Once again, very clear, detailed and helpful. (And it’s Nikon ニコン, not “nigh con”, or “nigh can”, as is frequently heard in the US, where there is a fashion for mispronouncing words from other cultures, including Japanese).
Great stuff :)
Mr. Woo is very camera-savvy.
A Long One John. It's amazing when talking about a subject with passion and knowledge time flies. Well Done! Cheers!
Doing the John Ishi & Mr. Woo CZcams Binge. Been busy in traveling and playing with new toys.
Zfc got two! Zf got two! Z6III got two! Cheers!

In the last few months I picked up a Nikon F6 and FM2, both lovely cameras
Oh, contraire, I have a Pentax K1000 and the shutter at 1000th is spot on after 30 years plus.
An interesting point made about the true speed variations of a mechanical shutter.
No excuses about wrong exposures when using my F3!

Haha! Im glad I’ve inspired a search! Hopefully it doesn’t damage your wallet too much! 😅 my next target of acquisition is an ensign midget!
