At this point, going on a sail boat in a thunderstorm would be safer than flying... Probably.
Flying a kite at the same time!
Do you know how many planes fly each day across the world?
@@LayllasLockertypical response when talking about how deadly planes can be lol… Or, "your chances of getting in a car accident are much higher" lol. I’ve been driving for 15 years and have never been in an accident.
@@LayllasLocker Yes. Statistically, it seems safe. However, that dosen't stop me from making satirical comments about airplanes.
That makes zero sense. It's still the absolute safest mode of transportation and the odds of dying is like 1 in 10,000,000. The odds of even getting hurt is like 0.00001%
They need Marine or Navy fliers to land in bad weather to fix that.
No they don't. Who do you think was in the cockpit of that boeng 737? A retired Navy pilot . They drive like crazy Indians and put people in danger. They think their in a fighter jet when it's a civilian airliner with 100 people in it and 200 times the size of a fighter jet
That 737 Max is not doing so well. Southwest only flys 737. Glad I don't fly anymore. I can't believe they got rid of all the MD-80 series. It was such superior machine to all these manned drones coming out of the factories today.
Not Boeings fault on this one it was the pilots
WTF IS GOING ON WITH AIRLINES 😮😮😮😮
They are hiring the bottom of the barrel due to a pilot shortage.
Um these aircraft are also old as hell and they skimp on maintenance…just like any other big business, they hold onto machines as long as possible and only work on the when the mechanical end life of the part needing fixing is met, rather than have preventative maintenance by upgrading these parts before they fail.
@OSM758 you are entirely wrong. The boeing 737 max 8 is one of the newest models airlines use today, with the first debuting in 2015. Old planes are actually reliable, these new planes are complete garbage.
@@OSM758I can tell you’re not a pilot or informed about aviation at all.
Three letters- DEI.
New generation of non-military trained pilots. Prob was scrolling Instagram while trying to pilot.
400 FEET? Omg
Cool
Less experienced officer means this was his first flight?
The problem is, SouthWest!
Stop using AI to narrate your videos
Well lets hope being addressed appropriately means they fired the inexperienced pilot.
💯
That's how you end up with an industry that doesn't report safety issues, clearly it was an accident likely caused by poor training.
I will still fly humans makes mistakes but I hope that he can learn from them i trust every single pilot and every plane that flies me around this country a i am not afraid of flying.
😢
Kawaii is so beautiful, though.
Kauai
Love kauai
So DEI flight crew.
First they ruin the IT field, now being a pilot
You literally have no idea who either of the pilots are, and yet you immediately assume DEI.
@@Artemie-np3qu If DEI didn't exist I wouldn't be able to say it good reason to ban Didn't Earn It
@@davidscott9572 Idk, seems racist to me. All you know is that one of the pilots was inexperienced, so you immediately assume it’s a minority of some form who is worse than the white guy who you think should have been hired instead. 🤷♀️
@davidscott9572
Your not so subtle dog whistle heard loud and clear.
Never flying again
Still better than a car
@@Artemie-np3qu a car might be slower, sure. However I am in control. Not some bonehead who almost killed a whole plane full of people in America. That’s something you hear about in other countries
@@YUNG_TUNA Ok, what about the thousands of other boneheads in all the cars. I know it’s a joke, but it’s very true that you are more likely to die in a car crash on the way to the airport, than on the plane itself.
@@Artemie-np3qu while there are a bunch of other boneheads out there driving, it’s important to note a key difference between flying and driving. I have the chance to react and change the situation when I’m in a car. I am 100% helpless in a plane.
My other main gripe is that passengers aren’t notified of this and have to find out through media leaks. This is unfair and non-transparent
You are more likely to die in a car crash than be involved in an aircraft incident.
And we already know nothing will happen or be found.
DEI HIRE?
