could you do a horse video on the things you have to do monthly, yearly, weekly, every six weeks with you horse? or could you tell me because i really want a horse and im just trying to get my research and knowledge down.
Here’s some recommendations. When cleaning stalls sift with like a rake so all the clean chips go back in the pen. Cause fresh chips are $7 a bag. So adding new chips can be expensive. About brushing tails it’s best while your walking to the back of the horse put you hand on its side and rub along so it knows where you are. If you don’t it can spook the horse and it may buck. Mostly when it’s a jumpy horse. Hopfully you get your horse soon but it’s a lot of money. 🐴 🐎
Livery - can be around £25per week.
Shavings - Better for horses so they don't eat straw and can be much easier. Comfybed plus is great because the wee sinks to the bottem.of the bed so will last twice as long. £10ish (Every 2 Weeks)!
Hay - I only put some in the stable through the night. - £4 per week!
Farrier - for me every 8 weeks. Barefoot so £25.
Dewormer - twice a year more if you have a high worm.burden. £10 per time.
Equine flu and vaccine - £40-50 roughly twice to once a year.
Dentist - once a year £50
Insurance - £35 per month

I stumbled across this video, very nicely done. Your such a hard worker for a young lady. That's nice to see. Please do more routine video's as it shows people that there is a lot of work into taking care of a horse and that's a big time and money commitment. The young man doing the camera did a very good job of not being shaky or panning the camera too fast. His comments at the end are very sweet.

Watching this makes me want to get back onto a horse so bad but since I fell off at the beginning of April and have memory loss, concussion and a fractured tail bone I'm scared to 😢 so sad as it was one of the only things I really felt calm and relaxed doing

At my barn filling up all the water bucket is the worst job because there’s 25 of them we have to fill up and they all get dumped unless they’re really clean before we fill them everybody tries to start stalls first so they don’t have to water😂
