Honda is good and sells millions of motorcycle worldwide but that it all cares about. All decisions are based in market strategy sales studies. RE’s edge is that it listens to its core customer base and actually applies feedbacks from users. Not to mention, the owner itself rides his brand;s motorcycles to work. Im saying all this as an Asian who grew up knowing, buying and riding only Japanese branded motorcycles. If you’re Indian, you already got a good thing going on with Re. support the growth of your own brand.

Yes absolutely, being an Indian we should support Indian manufacturers. Royal Enfield have come a long way from their unreliable bikes to now reliable and performance oriented bikes.

Nice video. But i would disagree on the top speed. It easily goes above 120-125 on 4th gear. 5th gear is only for cruising. I weigh 95kg.

Thank you for appreciating the video. As my friend Sherman mentioned ( and l feel l should have emphasize on this fact ) that the bike was still in its run in period. I guess the engine still needed to free up with a few thousand kms more for her to release her full potential.

Angad agree with you. Even the showroom guys said the same. As it was in run in i wasn't revving it high as in like quick drag acceleration. Gradually took it but it's ok the nashik highway 110 to as on odo. So assuming it's lesser. But i feel it was purely due to run in. Also same pinch. Weight. 😅

Except the speed thing I completely agree with you. I have the RS350 and it looks sexy. Yes, I have ridden J Platform REs Classic and Mateor but for me I liked the RS more than those two. J series is smooth but still not that smooth to be compared with Honda. Clutch is super light in RS, the only negative thing is that you have to get used to its gearing system. In 1 you can do 25-30, 2nd 40, 3rd upto 55-60, 4th 60+ and 5th after 70 or 75. The sweet spot to ride it is 80-90 for me. But strees less engine upto 110-115kmph.

They addressed all the complaints with RE 350 previous generation but they priced it similar to the new RE.
Instead of going head to head they should have priced it 20k cheaper than RE and had a CB500 priced 20k cheaper than the interceptor.
That would pull big money. It's an air cooled engine so they're making big margins anyway. Playing around with the pricing would drive the volumes up.
