You're right it says "Manufactured in China," then below that it says "Made in the USA." I looked at other Whedon shower products and they only say "Made in the USA." I believe it's just an error...
Why on the instruction paper it shows a valve going through the part where as you can shut the flow while in the shower? However the one you used doesnt. thanks
It’s the other version - where you have control of how much velocity you want. I have the exact one - you can reduce it to a trickle to high The one he has is set setting, you get what you get. I like this cause if you needed - you can shut off the head WITHOUT shutting down the shower itself The head also has good angels to move it around
If you haven't figured it out yet, It's best to do it with the shower head installed already since this locks prevents the ball joint from turning. Then unscrew the nozzle cone from the body of the showerhead (the part with the ball socket attached). There is an oring and the metal plate that pops out, then reinstall the oring and screw back on. You don't need to tighten it like a madman, the oring seals very well.
I just tried this showerhead. I found the temperature difference from water near the nozzle to be significantly hotter than the remaining. The droplets get too cool quickly because they are so small.

You mentioned that you reduced the water pressure in your home. How do you do that? I could use lower water pressure in my own home. Thank you.
You turn your main water valve or individual water valves around faucets a little so not as much water comes out.
Does it say how it comes apart? I have the USP19C and it doesn't come with a manual and there is no obvious way to get the plate out.
