RIP Bon and Malcolm. These guys really set the bar for hard rock. Great reaction!
I love dirty done deeds done dirt cheap. the best.
So happy you reacted to this version a lot of reactors do the version of it with Brian Johnson and it's just not the same without Bon Scott ✌️
I was 15 when Bonn Scott passed away. ACDC MUSIC, helped me through a very dark part of my youth. I love all ACDC MUSIC!!! ONLY 3 metal groups gave me the tenacity to carry on. ACDC, RONNIE DIO, & ROB HALFORD of Judas Priest.
LOL, Dave Evans was their first singer There is a video with Dave singing "Can I set next to you girl"
Angus young was 19 when the band started and released their first video " it's a long way to the top ( if you want to rock and roll ) , it was filmed in my home city Melbourne Australia
I saw AC/DC live, for the very first time, at one of the "Day On The Green" concerts at the Oakland Coliseum in the summer of 1978. I was 21. I'd never heard of the band before that, and hadn't heard their music. I was blown away, and so were all my friends who had gone to the concert with me. And judging by the reaction of the crowd, and the comments I heard, so was just about everyone else there. Bon Scott was special.
I got to see them in 1976 before anyone in the USA knew who they were. Bon and the boys rocked the house that night. 🔥🔥
Correction .... 1977
Angus was born in 1955. So if this was done in 76 when the record first came out he was 20-21, depending on recording date. But he was and is tiny so the band was usually telling journalists that he was around 15-16, which he could pass for being of that small stature.
Classic Aussie RockvTV show Countdown was a massive vehicle & springboard for Australian artists back in the day
Thank goodness you chose a Bon Scott version of this song. Brian just never had that cheeky twinkle in his eyes. Angus was not even 20 when they started and iirc, Bon was the oldest at 29 or so.
I grew up listening to Brian and never knew about bon til the internet came out and now I enjoy both versions.
Written by the late Bon Scott, RIP, the late Malcolm Young, RIP, and Angus Young. Bon Scott on lead vocals. Malcolm Young on rhythm guitar and his youngest brother Angus Young on lead guitar 🎸.
RIP George Young, Malcolm Young and Bon Scott.
Produced by George Young and Harry Vanda. George was 1 of the older brothers of Malcolm and Angus.
This song and the album share the same title.
George Young and Harry Vanda would produce the remaining AC/DC albums until 1979.
Then, AC/DC hired a young Mutt Lange as producer for the next 3 albums.
The next decade Mutt Lange would write, produce, sing backing vocals or any combination for Huey Lewis, who was with Mutt Lange before AC/DC, Foreigner, Thomas Dolby, Def Leppard, Loverboy The Cars, Heart and Billy Ocean at their peaks or near peaks in the 1980s.
Mutt Lange could retire in 1990 but chose not to. He worked with Bryan Adams, Michael Bolton, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears and Shania Twain in the 1990s.
Suggesyed videos 📹 1 AC/DC with Bon Scott performs Highway to Hell. 2 Huey Lewis and the News perform Do You Believe in Love? 3 Billy Ocean performs When.the Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going 4 Loverboy performs Lovin Every Minute of It.
I like Bon's humour. Brian's vocals sound to me that they come from the depths of Hell - which I'm told is a not entirely inappropriate description of Newcastle x
One of the saddest pics I've ever seen was Angus holding .Malcolm's guitar behind his hearse.
Bon Scott added a Bad Boy attitude to the bands performances, their musical talent is just fantastic. Listen to the Money Talk, try that one out
Check out Let There Be Rock official video by AC/DC. Angus might be a teenager in it! Bon is a lot older than the rest of the boys. Cheers
This is 1976, so Angus Young is 21 here and Bon Scott wrote almost all the song lyriics(outside maybe a song or two, and of course not any of the few cover songs that they did in their very early albums)
Bon was in thirties when he joined ACDC
Awesome rock pioneers
Great choice! Try their “Thunderstruck” too!
For AC/DC you should show them live performances from River Plate in Argentina, this show is unbelievable and the crowd is huge and insane.
No, the Goes To College show is how AC/DC should be seen.
Always much happier with Bob Scott
I saw them live twice, I tell you now, these Cats are UNHOLY LOUD.
Malcom wrote all the music Bon all the lyrics, both were true geniuses. Anything on the albums 'Powerage' and 'Highway to Hell' is a hit, then 'Back in Black' with Brian not a bad song on them all
Looking over the old vids. Nice to see the Big Daddy here! As a 49 year old guy, I love it! 😁
There been so many changes in the group since 1977 when I first saw them a cbgb in nyc in 1977 great live band great music
Love This Song Its an AC/DC Classic! Theirs a Live Version Brian Johnson Does Of This Track It's Pure 🔥🔥🔥 Too.
This is from an Australia tv show. There were no such thing as videos yet. This was when Angus was about 23, Bon was 32ish, and the rest were in between.
Bon Scott the best frontman in Rock and Roll.
Once again it has to be said: AC/DC is Bon Scott; Black Sabbath is Ozzy; Genesis is Peter Gabriel; and Marillion is Fish.
Great performance by a great band..as far as the girls jumping on stage, another artist they always went after was Bruce Springsteen..His football player build, rugged handsomeness and big voice drove 'em nuts!! ( There's a utube vid, "Rosalita live 1978, where they gang-tackle him and lay some liplocks on him before security could get 'em off!)
Meh. Happens to me all the time.....🤣
Added it to our list.
even earlier.. watch long way to the top if you want to rock and roll great video shot live in melbourne swanston street 1976, and bagpipes
Sooooo rare!!!!!!. I've never this concert in my life!!!!!!!!!!!
Brian Johnson does a good job on this song but Bon Scott just does it better.
Agree, Bon era song are always sung better by Bon, though Brian does a great job even now in his 70s.
I find there’s that group of people who sling shit at Brian constantly, which I think is quite unfair considering he wrote/co-wrote the songs on all albums 1980-1990 (Young Brothers wrote everything razors edge onwards).
That's the true acdc lineup, not the karaoke singer they got now
I understand where you're coming from but if it hadn't been for Johnson we wouldn't have had any more ACDC and Bon actually suggested to his bandmates if anything happened to him to go after Johnson so...some songs just aren't the same without Bon but some songs never would have been without Brian. Enjoy what you have and try not to hate too much, it doesn't become you...
@@Studamato understandable but I'll stick with bon, he created the band how it sounds. Highway to hell man.
Actually he wasn't the original singer but you do you @@eljohndoe6109
Love AC/DC. Love this album.
Back in the '80's this song was everywhere.
Weird Al did a hilarious parody you should look at.
I saw them live but with the new singer Brian Johnson. But listen so much when Bon Scott was the 1st singer. He died of Alcohol poisoning.
You guys should really check out Wild Thing by Cold Chisel live from the Last Stand concert. You wont be sorry.
I saw this live to air when I was a kid. Countdown. 6:00pm Sunday night. Most bands on this show were expected to mime (for staging/ technical reasons) but Bon always got to sing live. Listening to this makes me wonder if they thought Bon couldn’t be trusted to remember the words🤷🏻♂️ At least four unforced errors in the lyrics here (and one forced)🤣
You know it's live when he's set upon by a woman and the singing stops
They started playing in 1973 Angus Young was 18….
its the 70's - Bonn is the lead singer
One of the best
Bon the best talking singer ever
Angus young was fifteen. and mate was the song was slowed down from the original speed.
I'm loving Chad. His music is my music. AC/DC Van Halen, Nazareth. Amazing music.
Bon Scott rules!
20 yrs old
Angus was about 17-18 then.
They were bad ass I will say😊
ALWAYS the "bar band".... 😎
They both sing just as well, if different, but Bon knew how to structure the lyrics and space them out around the beat. He was the better composer.
19 yrs old
You should check out AC/DC song jail break from 1976 if you can find it sometimes they are hard to find
AC/DC great songs. Highway to Hell, Love Hungry Man, If you want Blood
Angus was 16 filming this..
Can you believe there's people that don't like ACCA DACCA, never met any but apparently they exist
W is for Woke. With is the opposite of A with is for Awake.
Bon Scott ACDC is imo the best ACDC it was more organic and far less structured
You know those girls running up on stage was planned, right?...I think one of them might have been Rosie😮
And who's that old guy? Where's Donna?
Bonn Scott played in a sugar pop band before he did ac/dc
Finally, you are in the Bon-Scott-time. Bon is the second greatest frontman of all time. These are VERY early videos, with Angus teeth still basically nonexisting... The song itself is great. Listen to his message :D
Oh, and you can watch a guy with tatoos as nobody had some. Bon was a real ROUGH guy. He lived fast and died as a rock star should die. Overdosed with heroine (one story) or overdose of alcohol and freeze to death in london after a tour through the bars).
By the way, the song came out in 1976 and Angus Young (the guy in the school uniform) was 20-21.
I love how he messed up the lyrics in this. Still sounded great LOL I love Brian Johnson and he was heaven sent after Bon's death really. Such a great fit for this band but Bon Scott had that extra something special. You can have all the talent in the world but not have what Bon Scott had. He also added that extra bit of menace to AC/DC's music that made their earlier stuff so much more controversial and edgy IMO . AC/DC, perhaps the best true Rock and Roll band ever. Proof that success is not only measured in #1 hits on the charts. I saw AC/DC 5 times live and they never failed to disappoint....never !!!!
React to Genesis' "In Too Deep." Lead by Phil Collins. 🙏
Great reaction. Anyway, can i request your reaction to superb band from japan?
The band is call "Lovebites"
They all The Beautiful Queens Metal band right now in the earth.
They are really really World class musicians. Phenomenal.
And they have a lot die hard fans too.
The song is "The Hammer of Wrath"
Hope you check out, and can enjoy it too. Big thanks🙏
No fair! Can't do Lovebites and not check out Nemophila "Oiran" live, recent release.😉Cheers.
Added them to list.
He was 18
Believe Angus was 16/17
Agnus with long hair, nothing. That was 1979 or early 80's, because bon died april 1980.
nice to see your reactions......your daughter has good taste in music........and the mom........she has just discoverd the world of heavy metal :).......maby im wrong...:) i got a new one for you if you are curious, Tommy Johansson ......guitarist from the amazing band Sabaton.......just saying....:) Greate channel :)
😊 thank you...added it to our list.
Little girl in the middle is so cute. Probably grew up on Taylor Swift and she's here trying to make sense of 70's era AC/DC, the hardest, meanest rock n roll there ever was lol. Mom picked up on Bon's vibe right away, and she's right. Bon wrote the songs that mattered, and without Bon AC/DC just became heavy metal, nothing all that special.
Hands down Ride on is the best
How good was Bon Scott?...wailing like an alley cat, he gets molested on stage and hardly misses a beat...he probably caught up with those girls post concert...a true rock God! And yes early ACDC has a very distinctive lyrical leaning to sexual innuendo...quite clever a lot of it.
DIRTY DEEDS SLOW SONG....."THUNDERSTRUCK "WILL WAKE YA UP..or "WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE"
my advice
look up more ac/dc with bon scott
you will not be dissapointed
PLZ fix the mics on the 3 of you. GARBLED! Everything else is 100%!! Rock on
hradbanging not hair flipping :P
Angus was only 12 years old here. He had to fake his age to legally play guitar in Australia.
He wasn’t 12
There's always someone who has no idea what they are talking about and makes a ignorant comment
Cool choice of video for DDDDC. Back when television appearances were often made with the band pretending to play along to the original studio version but the singer is performing live. Also back when AC/DC were kind of an Australian boy-band.
Hahahaha boy band like the majority of rock bands are guys . That's like saying van Halen are kinda like a boy band
Never a day in his life did or would Bon Scott front a boy band. If you can't tell the difference between this and the boy bands of the day, I don't know what to tell you.
@@bernie4366 Right. The guy who was in The Valentines would never be in a boy band. Only a real rock band would write a song like "Can I Sit Next to You Girl?" 🙄When a band's members are in their late teens or early twenties and their fanbase is mainly made up of hysterical teenage girls, they're a boy band.
@@WhatHaveIMade Valentines started as a candy rock band, they didn't end that way. Your point is that AC/DC was a boy band, and that is retarded. Pretty much the dumbest thing I've ever seen posted on the internet ever.
Great seeing a male of my age. Is he a relative?
Yes, he is Kathy's father and Lulu's grandfather.
@@KathyLuluandDonna thank you so much and best of luck for you and all of those you careful.
Not that long ago,....just a collection of yesterdays and the day before's! A mindset to keep you young, as long as you mature and grow not to live in the past.
From west coast Canada 🇨🇦, peace.
They were booed off the stage here in philly, I always thought they sucked...Terrible lyrics, crappy music...But; I think the same thing about the rolling stones...The Beatles are what great music sounds like.
Never happened, it would be front page news on the internet if it did. Honestly you have zero taste in music. I suppose the Beatles should consider themselves lucky that you like them.
@@bernie4366 It happened 25 years before the internet 1978, When they opened for Black Sabbath...I was there... Rolling Stones were ALSO boo'd off the stage for the Trashmen in 1965 At the Philly Civic Center...I was NOT there...And anytime you want to match wits about music; I'd send you home crying.
Concrete shoes, cyanide, TNT. Done dirt cheap.
Bon was in his 30s
