zouk can be much more flowy. like in every dance, there are different "basic ideas" within the dance and for most people it's about connection. most people dance zouk for themselves and less as a great dance to the outside world. that's actually one of the best things about the dance. of course you can also play with the dance and put on a great show. what strikes me is that leo plays very well with the music in WCS and ist not only with the follower/leader connected but also with the music. i didn't find that in this case. especially when the music gets quieter, zouk also has a lot to offer in terms of sensual moves which are slowly being used more and more in bachata. like most dances, zouk is unique in its own way and i personally don't think that comes across in the video. but i'm very curious to see how leo will develop. he certainly has all the skills you need now he just has to understand the uniqueness of the dance.
For me, zouk is passion, friendship, like a deep embrace. it doesn't need big moves or much styling. on the contrary ... sometimes it's just important to listen to the person you're dancing with and to feel good together.
I hope for him that he can really enjoy Zouk and learn to switch off when the cameras are off.

Мне не нравится когда партнёрша двигается как робот - заученно . Когда она добавляет женскую импровизацию - вот красота . Обычно это показывают вне конкурса , когда она раслаблена и раскована . 😁
