And personally, I don't even understand the concept of hate-watching... If I hate something that much, I'm just not gonna watch it, I'm not gonna seek out videos about it or leave negative comments about. I mean, we should all be allowed to say we didn't like something & have that be the end of it.
And if you love a show, then what kind of pleasure are you going to get from watching a reactor who doesn't like that show reacting to it? Better just watch reactors who did like it, or whatever... I don't know, it's just so weird to me that people "forced" Topher to do this... Hopefully, the experience won't be as bad for him as he fears...

@@toramenor There are just a lot of comments here talking about him being forced or bullied into doing it. But he could have carried on with his life and kept ignoring the requests, just like he's been doing for almost two years. But he chose to do this, thinking it could earn DramaLhama some money. And it probably did, so it worked. So people making it sound like he's a victim seems to be over the top. In my opinion anyway.
I appreciate reactors so much. People shock me with how demanding and rude they can be to you guys. Good luck to you on watching the show and I hope people are kind to you.

As a content creator, sometimes there is a delicate balance we have to walk between pleasing your audience and staying true to yourself. I'm learning this myself, so I get your point. Thank you for being transparent (even though you don't have to) and keep up the good work!
i thought LITA was fun but the editing for the show was definitely is all over the place nonetheless I will definitely tune in to the stream on Saturday! I hope you guys continue to have a successful Subathon ❤
I loved LITA and would love an open reaction from you, but not under these conditions. I dislike that you are doing this with such disdain. Part of the reason we love your reactions is because you do it with pleasure and joy. The fact that you are doing this under duress is upsetting. I know that you must as you have made a promise, so all I can do is wish that this experience isn't as bad as it seems it is going to be for you. I hope when you are done, this will fall in the "I survived that and it wasn't that bad" category of life. I also hope this teaches fans of your content that while we may want a reaction from you, we don't get to demand or pester a content creator to do what WE want. I really hope going forward that 1) your primary goal in doing this, getting DramaLlama up the status you are obviously working so hard to achieve happens and 2) that even if you have to do another subathon in the future, it won't be to something you didn't want to do. It will be filled with reactions you have been meaning to get to, but never had the time. Thank you for your content, Topher. The editing is bad yes, but i can look over it. If you can't this isn't for you. I love phayu. But that is me. On the other hand people sing praises over Kinnporch and i can't watch it.
I hate the bias and hate now a days. Hope you all have a great time watching it. I am not sure if i have time to be their.

the "you watched kinnporsche and that's worse" is crazy because as much as i love LITA, kinnporsche is such a better story, the storyline, the acting, the characters, etc is just better

I freely admit, I actually enjoyed the ultimatley fluffier nature of the first couple from LITA. I did not enjoy the trauma heavy aspect of the 2nd couple, so I didn't actually complete it on the first watch. Eventually I did, but still found I didn't enjoy it.
I do understand how some things are very hyped and I end up not being into the hype. I feel bad that you'll have to watch a show you never really planned or wanted to. I do know folks who love the series tho, so who knows maybe you will enjoy some aspect of it at least so you won't feel bored out of your mind.
I will say I have watched a series based on the reactors and not the actual series. So even if you hate watch it, I love your wit and commentary so I'm sure I'll enjoy ur reaction either way.

Yes, the first couple was great and the chemistry was crazy. The second couple were not good actors imo, but the chemistry was there.

I completely understand and agree with you on this. There are several series my friends have loved, that I can't get past the first episode of. Sometimes even actors I adore are in series I can't bring myself to watch.
My time is so limited lately, I have to be very selective.

I really wish you would not watch it. I was always frustrated seeing the comments constantly asking you about LITA especially after you already said you didn’t want to watch it. You are allowed to drop a series if it’s not to your expectations. It’s not that deep. Love your reactions.
I don't understand people sometimes. They get upset when you give your honest opinion on why you don't like it and then throw a hissy fit when you don't react to it I don't understand it 🤦🏾♀️. I can agree with you that LITA was so over hyped it wasn't my favorite BL. But I'm praying for you Topher don't let them stress you out too much 💜
I didn’t realize LITA was so polarizing. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t the worst show I’ve seen either. You shouldn’t feel forced to watch it but I’ll be tuning in to support you.
It's def not the worst. I won't be watching the reaction because of this reason. Everyone is allowed to have an opinion, including viewers. It feels weird for this to be forced. Looking forward to other reaction though.
I watched it, I enjoyed it, I do not understand why people have such strong opinions on it. Was it great? No. Was it some devils incarnation, worst thing to ever happen to bl? Also no. I get why people don’t like mame's work but I also don’t think that she (or her fans) deserve the constant public witch-hunt and having to defend themselves all the time like liking slightly problematic fiction is some great moral failing on their parts. Her stories have been a mixed bag for me personally: love by chance was one of the first Thai bl's I ever watched and I genuinely like it (but I skip every side plot on rewatches), never watched a chance to love because I detest Tin. I never got further than ten minutes into tharntype despite my many attempts. That series simply physically makes me cringe (not cringe as in embarrassing but cringe as in makes me so uncomfortable that it is a physical reaction). Don’t say no was fine, a bit meh. As I said I enjoyed lita. Have not seen love sea yet but it looks fine.
Long story short: everyone needs to take a chill pill or two. Let people like what they like and stop harassing people into watching things they don’t want to, for whatever reason.
Sometimes people just don't like things. It's honestly very strange to get so upset about it. Would they rather you watch something they love and insult it? I am NOT a reactor, but even for me, when I say that I dislike I Told Sunset About You, people act like I've just kicked their puppy or something.

You're allowed to just not like somethings, i dropped kinnporshe and it wasn't even for the problematic scenes. I jyst thought it got boring. Don't let anyone push you around ever. I’ve watched the series, I enjoyed the series. I’m not going to force my opinions on you. I did not understand the hype about the series. And since you’ve let these people get you to the point where you’ve caved in to watch the series despite your personal feelings, I hope you do “enjoy” your time watching it. If I’m available I’ll try to tune in
The second half of the show is better. The first couple gets a bit silly. They are good looking and have fun NC scenes but the characters are just ok. The second half is a different story with more meaning. It was constantly high on viewership on IQ for well over a year.
Personally, I like LITA to a certain degree, though I do have an emotional attachment to it since it is the first Thai BL that i have ever watched. I have watched so many more since, so many way better ones too, but LITA will stay with me, especially Sky and Pai, for a long time.
I would love to see your reaction and hear your honest thoughts about it, though I do understand why you maybe aren't all that hot on watching it. I truly respect your dedication to your fans and followers.

I have never commented before, mainly because I very rarely do, I watch CZcams to destress and so I keep to myself most of the time, but you are one of my favorite reactors. I first watched your The Untamed reactions have been on Patreon ever since. I think your reactions to UWMA is one my favorites and I have rewatched it several time.
Keep up the good work and don't let anyone think they have the right to demand anything of you. Stay healthy and be happy, that's all I care about.
I personally am on team Lita is a pile of trash, however that being said, I might have to peek in on the stream since I (and the rest of the chat) had a grand old time roasting the show when Psyinergic reacted to it last subathon.
I had very mixed emotions at us unlocking that tier again. Glad for DramaLlama, but even though I typically enjoy Topher's reactions even to parts he doesn't like, I'd never want him to struggle through a show if he didn't enjoy it more than not. I don't know if I can go through watching the show again, so I hope chat has some good vibes, and that we can keep the stream going so that we can end the Marathon on a show that's more enjoyable.
I watched it and liked it for the most part, but I fully agree that it's a trash series. Sometimes I like trashy things. I'd never push it (or any show) on someone.

People forcing you to like it is dumb .. the idea of a reaction is being true to yourself and your commentary not to please people . The production of the show definitely needed some work lol and the actors were new .. all In all hopefully I’m able to jump in x
I really loved Love in the air with Ppai and Sky a little bit more then Rain and Prai but I understand why you couldn't or wouldn't watch it and I don't understand why people need you to react. That is your opinion and you have the right. I would hoped you would enjoy it but not everyone will. Maybe you will enjoy their next series more, Love Sea.
I don't understand this mentality of if you didn't like what I like then you're wrong, if you say you won't react to something people get so mad, or if you react to it, "the wrong way," you aren't allowed your opinion because that's not how the fans feel about it. Please just pick one to be angry over but, also, leave the reactors alone.
All that being said, I hope your watch of LITA isn't bad for you. I liked the series a lot at first but not so much anymore. After a couple re-watches I have the scenes I love and the ones I skip because I can't go through them again.
I feel the same way about everything you said. I also never realized that people were hyping it up so much. It’s not an award-worthy series, it’s just a silly series. Hounding people to watch it over and over will only make them want to watch it even less, such as Topher. Hopefully people learn from this experience, but sadly they probably won’t.

I watch your reactions for your honest opinions. Also, I had no idea what happened with different fandoms where you had to block people, that's gotta be so difficult.
I think I might have left comments comparing Love in the Air with KinnPorsche, but I was only referring to the level of some non-consentual stuff, which is about on the same level I'd say, so I was only trying to say that LITA is not as bad with the non-consent as some might think. Not that I like either shows. I honestly did not like KinnPorsche as a whole, it's soo overhyped as being an amazing series and for me it wasn't. But I still don't go on KinnPorsche videos and leave bad comments or fight people on the Internet. That's just crazy to me and I really wish other viewers shared that mentality: if a reactor doesn't like something, let them be.
I am glad you guys reached the goal, but sorry you have to watch something you don't want to... (maybe you should have put a different show as a reward for the goal, but I guess it's too late to change now, so never mind) Since it's gonna happen anyway, I hope the experience is not as bad as you fear & that everything goes fine. Kinnporsche and lita cannot be compared. I don't like either of them but Kinnporsche is about Mafia bosses and lita is supposed to be a romantic comedy but there's so much nonconsensual things going on in that series and the main problem is that they romanticize it
@@dorkistan6344 But I wasn't comparing them on their subject matter. Regardless of who it is, no consent means no consent. Also, kinnporsche is a romance too - the two main characters end up in a happily ever after romance, but the start of it is sexual assault, which is never really condemned... in Lita, the first couple starts out as 1 doing stuff without the other's consent, and the second couple starts out as 1 guy using his power to get the other to sleep with him, and again those beginnings are not condemned & the two couples end up in consentual happily ever after scenarios... Only looking at how the relatonships start in both shows, and for that reason only, I thought KP and LITA were comparable. Of course, everything else is completely different, but I really don't want to go into arguments here. I thought both shows had certain good scenes and good elements, I also thought both had issues, but different people will like different things and will see things from their own perspective, so there will be many subjective opinions... This is just my subjective opinion...
Anyways, these two shows were at least not boring to me. There were some other shows (which got great reviews or were very popular) that I found super boring and did not finish, and I extremely rarely do not finish stuff. There were also shows I really liked that others didn't. But that doesn't mean people should argue and so on & I definitely do not want them to attack Topher and stuff like that.
I'm going to be honest I didn't even realize you never reacted to it cause so many other content creators reacted to the show plus you probably had other shows you were trying to complete and react to you. It wasn't until you mention it in the details of some of your video that made me aware. Honestly I enjoyed the show but if it never piqued your interest beyond the first episode that's okay too. I enjoy your other reactions just as well nd even after what a whole year I'm surprised people are still asking about it.

I think the main problem with Lita is that the actors were not really experienced and the acting wasn't really strong especially in the first couple. I am saying this as a fan of the show, boss is so fine lol, but i can see why people might be put off by it. Respects to you, i don't really watch reaction content but i enjoy your commentary
Imo the acting was the least of lita's problems. Problematic stuff aside, the writing and audio quality were down right atrocities.

I finished LITA, and may I say it’s not my favorite series. But neither is any of the series that Mame has put out…okay probably Don’t Say No but I think it was just a better storyline and I loved the friendship group. I enjoyed mostly the second couple’s story a bit more, even though it was a bit triggering…and they still were toxic. Even with KinnPorsche, it’s still a bit more better in regards to storyline. Especially, the whole reason I continued watching was cause of KimChay since KinnPorsche or VegasPete were not my favorite. Also, yes just because you “made it through KP” and that means you should be able to “make it through LITA” still minimizes your experience/emotions/thoughts about certain things that are so not okay. Yes, it’s important to separate fiction from reality but SA still happens in real life. You are also being respectful towards the people who like LITA, you haven’t said anything bad about it or trashed on ever since you stopped watching it. You simply forgot about it, which you have the right to. It just doesn’t make sense, like they get mad when you 💩 on a series but then when you stop watching it…they want you to react to it. It’s like they want to be provoked, and are ready to throw hands if you say one bad thing about the series. You are allowed to not like some BL series, not everyone is going to like the same BLs as you or you won’t like the same BLs as them. What’s important is one being respectful of one’s taste in series which you were Topher. I’m still so sorry you are being forced to watch the series even though you don’t want to, and you know you won’t like the series. You know yourself better than anyone, and no one should tell you otherwise. It’s been a while since you reacted to DFF, but I respect your decision in deciding not to finish it on CZcams. So, if you decide to stop watching LITA at anytime then there better be people who are ready to not be surprised and respect that cause you did give a fair warning.

I love watching BL series, and before watching a new one, I tend to watch content creators' thoughts about the show. Their honest opinions are valuable to me because everyone has their own taste.
dropped it too, didn't find it really interesting or anything got up to ep3. You could try 'don't say no' if you haven't, much much better in my opinion,. It's open Convo like you mentioned, I like how they handled certain narratives and the side couple was adorable. I think it'll be a suitable alternative but idk
I will say this originally I did want you and psynergic to watch not because it’s amazing but it was a fun watch simple. I think it isn’t any worse in quality than say pitbabe which I didn’t enjoy as much as LITA and I think acting wise is actually better but I understand getting hounded over something makes you want to watch it less I’ve been there. I suggested once and never mentioned it again once I saw how much other were suggesting it even after you said u would get there but once I saw they kept hounding you I knew that you would be turned off. After that while I still wanted both of you to watch it I also didn’t as well because I felt if you did you would come in with a biased view and be more hyper critical of a show that while a fun watch isn’t super amazing and shouldn’t be watch with a high expectation of more than that. That being said when psynergic watched it I felt that happening. by no means is LITA a kinnporshe I would say it falls in between in the same quality as pitbabe and bed friend when it come to writing and acting and when I watched psynergic watch it it felt hypercritical and while i definitely agreed with what he said during it I felt he couldn’t enjoy and have fun with it because of that a slight bias he came in with that he wasnt going to like it. If he didn’t come with that bias I felt while he has definitely maybe wouldn’t have loved it but I don’t think he would have disliked it as much as he did when he enjoyed pitbabe and bed friend. So this what I’m trying to say I hope that you come into this with an unbiased mindset as you can and try to enjoy it while still giving your true opinion and commentary.
I've watched Love in the Air I liked it somewhat, the first part I liked better then the second which took me a couple weeks to watch. I won't rewatch this.
LITA was fun, the plot is basic, but there were some pretty funny scenes that i enjoyed. The NC scenes were good. But its not a great plot.
I do the same thing if I don't like it the series I don't watch. Like some of these series coming out on GMMTV PT2 I'm not going to watch all of them. I'm mostly waiting for one series on GMMTV to be honest wish with you (PERFECT 10 LINER) 😊

Sad you don't want to react to TharnType. I love Gulf's acting in it. But i totally get it; tharntype is not everyone's cup of tea.

Don't watch what you don't like. LITA had hundreds of thousands of fans who loved it. You don't need to. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes.
As I said before, I wasn't rooting for you to do this reaction. I'm one of those who thoroughly enjoyed the series, flaws and all, because they tried to do something a little different with it. But I completely understand those who don't. As it happens,I'm throwing a party Saturday so I can't watch the stream live anyway that day. I might try to catch the recording on Psynergic's twitch, but if it's anything like his reaction to it, I'll probably skip it. The negativity just got too much, particularly in the chat.
I am curious, did you actually join in to watch it? If so, how was the experience this time around? Just as bad?
@@marieschmidt1262 I poked my nose in only once or twice and the reaction wasn't particularly positive. I don't know if it was as bad or not, but it definitely wasn't good. I didn't stick around to see any more of it.
@@tytojess8628 Seems like you had a similar experience as me then. I also dropped in to check it out a couple of times, but each time I left very quickly, because the stream had the same vibe as when Psynergic watched the show; a lot of negativity, not a lot openmindedness and a constant flow of condescending comments. But to be honest, I didn't expect it to be any different.
I quite liked LITA ig that's just me.

Poeple who actually watch your stuff should know that you don't shy away from problematic discussion, case on point , you watched Histrory one of the most problematic franchise out there, and while I enjoyed watching LITA, it's not the best when it comes to the storytelling ,, love scenes a bit on the tacky side
