You can never go wrong with Queen. There are so many songs to hear. The one that really gets me is one that Brian May wrote, No One But You (Only the Good Die Young)
John quit in 1997. He and his keen fashion sense is greatly missed by Queen fans.

This beauty was penned by Freddie. The opening lyric & melody is based on the line “Ridi, Pagliaccio, duo tuo amore infranto!” Which means “Laugh, clown, at your broken love”. It’s from an opera aria and Freddie loved opera! FYI - Their album A Night At The Opera was named after a Marx Bros. film with the same name. (Queen’s album A Day At The Races is also named after a Marx Bros. film). 🎥

(There’s actually another video of this song performed by Freddie in Rio, also 1985, where his voice is in better shape than it is here… In this one, you can tell that his voice is tired and he’s having trouble with the nodules on his vocal cords. (Did you know that Freddie had recurring nodules on his vocal cords? Depending on whether they were bothering him or not, dictated what notes he could sing in any live show.)
I just LOVE this performance, for the way he drops an octave - literally - during the intro.😄
