In this vitual reality city tour, MoMoTV will be taking you to Height Asbury, San Francisco. An area that not only has a lot of beautiful Victorian architecture, but is also one of the hippie origins of the city.
Height Asbury located near the intersection of Haight and Ashbury Streets, it was a haven for vintage clothing, music, pop posters and body piercing stores that still reek of 1960s counterculture. Although "Summer Love" ended decades ago, Haight-Ashbury has become a melting pot of hippies, hipsters and professionals.
What is now Haight-Ashbury is still a vibrant neighborhood of old and sophisticated Victorian houses, Tibetan antique stores and the largest independent record store in the world. If you're in San Francisco and want to learn about the history of counterculture and much more, here are the attractions you won't want to miss.
