Honestly, Niantic should realize that Pokémon Go is their biggest success and has the most potential out of all of their projects. They need to refocus their efforts on what this community wants and how to make the game more accessible while still making the experience rewarding for everyone. They should really consider solely developing for Pokémon Go and stop trying to recreate the magic of this game with a different IP, it will just never be as good imo

The fun part is they are losing money by not letting us do as many remote raids as possible
I can;t even afford to do that many raids anyways. It s a challenge to get revives and potions to heal my Pokémon's. Even when i win a raid i lose cause i have to revive 12-18 pokemnon and then heal em. I love the game and playing but It becomes about collecting Pokémon's,

As I remember Niantic said that the bigger spawn radius was too much too handle for new players, why don’t they put the bigger radius for lvl 31 and higher and keep the small radius for lvl 30 and lower!? That way advanced players won’t get too “destabilize“ lol
Or even each level you gain gets you 1 meter and caps at level 40 so a total of 80 meters and you have to earn it

Thanks for this video. I am glad you are saying exactly how you feel and I can see so many people not enjoying this game like before. The radius expansion spawns was so awesome it made it so much better for a player that dont have time to walk around looking for pokemons “especially when its not in an area with alot of pokestops”. Suddenly I saw pokemon spawn in areas which I never even thought of going to in 6years. Long story short…..If Niantic want to make more profit then they should listen to the community and stop with limitations and huge markups. Spending so much money on remote raid passes now feels like they are robbing us but before at the much lower price we would spend the same or even more because it felt like value for money. Instantly increasing sales as the community felt it was there money worth. Thanks for your videos and keep up the amazing work.

You are no different from the people that unfortunately got let go from Niantic , not only is Niantic screwing over the playerbase but the people who actively work to promote their game to new players and people who make content for active players. Thanks for this update! I usually can’t do too many raids but today, I headed out and walked around the city and completed a Turtonator raid. Luckily I got a shiny on my first raid, I hope you’ve got yours by now 😁😁

This is for me personally but I think they shouldn't make you use a remote raid pass if someone invites you to a raid

I picked the fire path, and my Marowak that you get from that path, was a shiny, I was so hyped, it was decent 3 stars
For the spawn radius, I'm pretty sure they realized it wasn't working with the autocatchers and pulled back. They will probably release it back with the new autocatcher to make all the other catchers useless so everyone buy the new one.

Yeah man, you, JTGilly and JTValor always seem so positive. When, in reality, I’m sure everyone was pissed as soon as Niantic FORCED an update to remove the larger radius. But as mad as I and everyone else are about it, you guys remain positive. You guys literally keep me playing the game.
I love how they increased the spawns around you but I wish they would make this shiny hunt a little easier by making it spawn in the wild with a 5% spawn chance that would make it a lil easier
The increased radius for spawns is a bug unfortunately
I don’t think increasing the shiny chance is a grate idea because it will decrease the rarity of shiny’s but they should increase it in events and mostly spotlight hours that way the events would be soo much better and exciting
The good thing about this research is that it has so many good spawns like litten

I've quit shiny hunting because they are so hard to find and I'm just focusing on getting dex entries it's just easier to just get what I need in the dex instead of shiny hunting and it's worked out quite nicely I'm occasionally finding random shinys in the wild sometimes they're even shinys I didn't have and I'm also finding shinys that have had a community day but so far not actively shiny hunting has been good to me hopefully you get shiny Turtonator and I hope everyone else who wants it can get it

It's funny watching this late, because this is happening right now with the Lunar New Year event and Drampa. Except the win 3 raids task is diluted with 2 other Pokemon! Also my theory with the increased radius spawn is that they were loading the Palkia effects into the game by testing the spawn radius, but didn't intend to make it live.

the win three raids research honestly caused me some problems, i was doing raids for other research quests and once i got the research quest of win 3 raids i had used up all but 2 of my raid passes, i used my last 2 at 4pm so i had to wait until there were raids i could do solo which i ended up having to wait until 2pm the next day, it truly isn't the best research quest requirement for the encounter
Also gotta remember to if you only have 5 poke stops in your town you might not even get those event tasks
For giggles I did get a shiny Sudowoodo when that update went live, and I had fun playing as there were Staraptors and Explouds spawning outside the radius, and then it was reverted. No longer did I see any rare spawns outside of a daily incense, but now I kinda want to wait until Go Fest to play. It’s not the same anymore. I hope Niantic at least do something positive to counteract this negative change.

I come back for the occasional pokemon go youtube video on this channel. And while it gives me some motivation to get back into pokemon go, it has become a running theme of the sentence " its definitely a frustrating time yo be a pokemon go player right now" being used.
The "glitch" was so good. I was shocked to see it, but my god it was nice to have more spawns available on my house. I hope it's something they revert back. If they want people to go out more they should make it better too
The game LITERALLY JUST NOW forced me to install the latest update. Goodbye to spawns across the street, hello to more disappointment towards Niantic… Turtonator is cool though.
I used to be able to see like 20 pokemon now I can only see 6
Long time viewer, first time commenter. I managed to grind 90, yes 90 Turtonator encounters (mostly from the field research) and a whopping 0 were shiny. I felt so deflated, especially seeing others that I raided with getting the shiny - but I was happy for them. That said, the rates were terribly low and I do hope for another chance to get it in the future, albeit not through having to do so many raids!
I think the glitch was niantic field testing their new auto catcher, that would allow their auto catcher to catch up to 80m, but not other auto catchers. Cornering the market on auto catchers
I walked with my gotcha evolve, during the glitch and noticed it could only catch up to 40 m.
Got a Shiny Heatran on the first raid,caught on the first ball. Caught a Shiny Turtonator on 2nd Raid and Another Shiny Turtonator on 4th raid,so this Event has been great

13:27 Definitely part of the problem.. I haven’t done one Turtonator Raid since the Dark Flames Event started. I think the people with money to burn will enable Niantic to continue their greedy ways and people without the availability to throw away 5 Remote Raid Passes a day will continue to be disregarded and neglected.. 😢

I'm stuck on the purify a fire type task I've no pokemon to purfy at the moment with very few team rocket grunts appearing here an none with te fire types so far, so annoying

I wouldn’t necessarily say that turtonator is paywalled. Most people are capable of soloing tier 1 raids, that is how I’ve been getting my checks. If you have gyms in your area, go out there and do those raids if you have some premium passes to use.
I did two turtonstor raids yesterday and got a shiny on my second one, pretty good IVs on it as well
I think the good thing about turt is you can solo it
They FOR SURE forgot to turn on the fire and dark grunts boost. Or it's like a 10% boost. I've done about 12 grunts today across my city and not a single one dark or fire grunt lol
I have only seen 1 Turtnator raid in my area since it's release. Of course I ended up catching the hundo.
They could save the game by reversing the remote cost raise and limit to how many you can do. It was fun being able to access pokemon that you cant get here in rural areas
the markings on the nearby screen is because you need those for the collection challenge
Hey! I caught a shadow Hundo mewtwo during the event and just caught a shadow hundo articuno! I am so happy that I got so lucky during these raids, I aint on any social media platforms so here is pretty much the only place I can share this
I got a 98% shiny Turtonator on the 1st check from research for the dex entry, then my 3rd check was a 100% non-shiny 😆

Cant be about maximizing profits if there is a hard limit on remote passes. They will probably revert the expanded spawn radius.
I got the shiny turt as my very first one from a remote raid invite from a friend. So insanely lucky
So happy you addres this HOWEVER when you and some are still spending sometimes equal to 10+ players they still live, we all need to cut back on things like incubators and leader radars too. They're eventually gonna realize the raid flops - not change and just do egg and shadow exclusives
I have a photo that proves that Necrozma will be in Pokemon go but I don't know how to upload it, but in one of the cups that pokemon go had I looked at eligible pokemon and scrolled down to see a giant blob covering where an eligible pokemon would be with the title Necrozma underneath

They just don't want us to get this Shiny very easily - I think they tweaked the spawn mechanics again, maybe they don't spawn out as far but they seem to stick around more the further you move away from them

As I sit here and watch this video, I had a look in my local area for turt raids… 0, however there is 7 shadow articuno, 3 mega sableye, 1 heatran, 3 flareon, 2marowak… the spawning rates are just bad. I’ve had 2 opportunities for turt, no other times have I seen it spawn.

Honestly, had the most fun with the game when they were giving out remote raid passes during COVID. Its a lot of fun to raid with friends and other players but it's just not feasible to do it regularly in person. I'm a casual player so the 200 per remote raid pass makes it horrible value to buy just for a chance at a good mon. I'd honestly rather have the extra bag space.

As a seasonal player I'll pop in and out every summer, it's really depressing, I come back to the game expecting it to be like when I first picked it up in 2019 and I'm finally trying to be a full time player, but I constantly hear about the bad way Niantic is taking the game and everything with raid passes, I don't even have raiders in my area anymore, it makes me sad, I didn't experience the golden time during the pandemic, during 21-22 I was fully offline, so I don't know what it was like having the passes and then the price jack up, but i can see the remnants, it makes me wanna put down the game, I don't wanna support this because of my ignorance, just because never got to see the affects of the changes, but the spawn increase did hurt, I loved it, I could actually have a lure on my pokestop!! And it was really cool to see so many pokemon i even got a shiny snubbull off it!!! but, now it's gone and every pokemon that's outside my white ring flees when tapped and I have a glitch where pokemon will still be visible until the fog covers them

This video really tells the truth about what’s happening it’s like when ever something fun is coming up we’re given an impossible way to even get the awards and I’m really missing the old days before all this rise of coins and the limited raids and I even tried to go into the battle league and I get three glitch not able to battle glitch and yet instead of fixing the glitch in the battle league they instead got rid of the increase spawn what the heck?!!
