Like, the latter's great if you're shooting for realism, but the former is like a perfect middle ground of 2D and 3D aesthetics. The only thing is that these textures look low-res by today's standards--imagine what a game with 8K hand-painted textures on the models would look like!

Every so often an OneyPlays episode comes along where the perfect crew plays the perfect game, like the planets aligning, and it’s such an unmitigated clusterfuck that only one episode ever gets made and it’s amazing
The fact that Adam has begged to play WoW for however long and when they finally play it, it divulges into everyone yelling at each other over catfishing some guy and falling off a boat is hilarious
The nice thing about Adam and Cory bringing their two shriveled brains together means they'll play something the two love but don't understand is pretty much unwatchable, so at least when they immediately derail it with their mind-shattering lunacy, it makes the show a lot better.
Watching now, Dave's compltely justified fury over it really ties it all together.
