AJ's in the TRAIL TECH shop installing new ITP tires and wheels to two of our vehicles. First, it's ITP Hurricane wheels and Terracross tires for the Wolverine R-Spec and then Black Ops SS216 wheels and Mud Lite XTR tires for our Wildcat Trail Limited.
I have a set of ITP Mud Lites XTR's bought in 2006 .They have been on two Yamaha rhinos, One Polaris Browning edition.They have over 6500 miles on them before I had to buy a new set this week.Awesome tires!! The fronts were pretty much shot,but the backs still had tread!

What were the tire sizes and the wheel offset?
Anybody have any experience with Black Waters? Im looking at those or going all same size tires on my Commander and getting Maxxis Carnivores.
I have a question about those ITP tires and rims does that tires slide throw corners on the trails or it's only for the mud?
+Hattem Ghanoom The second set of tires will have more slide as apposed to Terracross tires. Both are ok in the mud.

what would you guys recommend for a deep snow Tire on a commander 1000 limited?
I have a 2015 maverick xxc. I am happy with my rims but the about 1/3 of my riding is on pavement. I'm in the south Dakota area so we see about every type of environment so I was looking at an all terrain with a longer life span lime the GBC Kanati Mongrel in factory size. If it were your rig what would you use? I worry the mongrel won't be very good in snow and light mud.

ITP Terra Cross tires suck, never even spun and lost over half my tread in less than a year. Used on a Brute Force 750. Weren't even good in mud and the front ones went real bad.
I've never been a fan of ITP.. Well not the rubber part any way's! I mean they have great tread but I have a set of ITP XL mud lites and I'm not at all impressed with the quality of the rubber, tread pattern is good but it seem's to wear down so much faster then my Maxxis zillas on my other ATV. So this is a big note (from me personally) to ITP, get a little bit better rubber quality please!!
+Kyle Fitzgerald I agree. Almost every ITP tire I've had the rubber seems to wear MUCH sooner than any other tire I've had. I was thinking of the Evolution's because of the reviews on Rocky Mountain ATV website but so far the best longest lasting tire were the Big Horns even though they were above average tires. Tires cost a ton of money not including rims and I'm looking for both longevity and quality. The Regualtor Tensor was another but I'll just have to wait and see.

When did off roading turn into mudding? I wana be on a hard packed trail the whole time a little water here and there light mud some big hill small creeks and a lot of woods.. Having big mud tires is stupid and quit tearing up the land 24/7. Who would put a tire on that's for MUDDING only LOLOLOLOL get over yourself
I ride through whatever I want or need with shit tires bald no problem mega mayhem lol get real.. U wana put tires that LIMIT your 4 wheeler to MUDDING and provide a crapy ride and tear your 4 wheeler up be my guest.
cjkatbruno tear up your wheeler? bald tires? bro what are you talking about? i have the blackwater evolutions on my alterra 500 and iam not beating up anything lol and iam running 25x9x12's on the front and 25x11x12 on the rear, only issue is i have lost some top end (to he expected going from 6 ply non radial enduro kadens-stock tires) to these evos with more weight 8 ply radials...you did mention burning it out, well it is inevitable if you're burried or stuck ajd instead of being smart and winching out you beat on the machine an burn out your belt and worse case both your clutch and belt...then again experienced riders know.NOT to do that ;-)

Sounds legit....bald tires going downhill on a public road...and i domt give a left.nut that you do not care what i have, you made an uneducated juvenile rant comment over tires....i called you oit and disproved your rant by facts not -i had bald tires blah blah blah full gas and brrrraaappp put a ton of work into wheeler and i domt care blah blah.... get serious kid
